What's on your Menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
Love that first picture!!! You're looking good!
We also have issues with group photos... I've found that if I encourage the 16yo to do a selfie, we get more pictures that way... go figure!

I love your pics Beth, your daughters are beautiful!! Congrats to Tori on her special day! I don't think you look like crap, you are too hard on yourself!
Learning how to slow down and eat now is something I think a lot of people struggle with, it is a balancing act for sure, good luck on slowing down.
Have an awesome weekend!
You look great, daisy! and your labs are super cute!
I have a comparison photo from february of my super fat face and another from september after a 46 lb loss, but I cant seem to figure out how to add it.
Went to my local support group at the hospital last night. I'll just say it might be my last time. It was ok, about 20-ish ppl, but not really my crowd, and when i had mentioned the post op depression and anxiety (and going to therapy) everyone, except for 2 who nodded in agreement, looked at me like i had 3 heads. I dont see how of those 25ish people, only 3 of us had depression fresh out of post op? After that, anytime someone mentioned anything about mental issues and what people should be thinking, they kept talking at me. I sort of felt attacked, lol. I thought i was being courageous, but i felt like the poster child for mental issues for a moment. Anyway, didnt really feel the warm fuzzies, so maybe i'll just stick with you guys!
Weekend Plans: My parents are coming into town, and Hubby and I will be painting our door and shudders a new color (from maroon to navy) while they watch our little boy.
QOTD: I am still working on eating slow. I literally have to be paying special attention to eat slow. I used to inhale food. Right now its easy to keep it in mind because my meals are so tiny. I want to make it last! But yes, a full time job it totally is, when to eat, drink, take vitamins, etc.

For some reason in-person support groups never seem to be good! I see posts like this all the time - and that's certainly how I felt about the group at my hospital - no one there was in a similar life situation as I was AND they were judgey! It's the worst.

Thanks achelle, you will get to know that I don't have kids I have "fur kids" so they are pretty much my world LOL
I hope you figure out soon how to post a pic, we would love to see your progress pics!
UGH on the not enjoying your local support group. I don't like mine either and after one time I have never been back. At my 18 month follow up at my centre I had to go to a 3 hour nutrition class with a lot of other people who were also 18 mos post op. It was a nightmare. Not one person in the room other than me had got to their goal weight, and 90% of them had lost maybe 50-60 pounds and most of them were still very big women. I was shocked and sad at the same time. Alot of them were friends on FB and they went weekly to a local coffee shop, (Tim Horton's its like your Dunkin Donuts) and they talked about how they all had a "treat" while there, a donut or a fritter that kind of thing. I honestly felt like an alien in that room. Most of the women shot me daggers the whole time. At one point one of them very passively aggressively said something like "well those of us who still need to lose weight, unlike skinny people won't understand what I am about to say," so when it was break time I told the Nut I was leaving and thanked her for her time. It was horrible and sad all at the same time. So do come to us here on OH, we get it, we will be honest and kind and supportive and help you as best as we can help.
I love the idea of painting your door & shutters, I need to get hubby to help me paint our front door and garage door. Nice to have your parents visit.
Great menu again, great numbers, keep up the good work and have a great weekend, don't forget to rest!
