What's on your Menu today (PHOTO FRIDAY) RNYers?
I am so glad its Friday, bring on the weekend! I have to go to the cell phone place tonight to try and add the 13 year old to our plan so her phone will actually work at our house. Just a basic phone she can call and text on, since we dont have a home phone. Saturday morning I need to bring Elliot to get his flu shot, then that afternoon he has a birthday party of a new friend from his new daycare. I have never even met the kid! LOL I'm sure there are a million other things I need to do, I am trying not to think about it too much.
My weight is up above my "happy place", no surprise there....friggin stress. I am trying really hard to eat right, so hopefully I can get back on track. I have my 18 month follow up next week and REALLY dont want to be too high. ugh
QOTD: I tend to eat faster when I am at home, with everything that needs to get done...kids...etc etc. I always try and slow myself down though.

Man you are a busy lady Melissa! Teens and cell phones, I don't evny that, but it will be nice for her and you to be able to stay in contact. Flu shot season is here, I need to get mine too.
Sorry your weight is up, at least you are aware and know that you are stress eating. I hope you can get a handle on your stress, no one should be stressed! Good luck with getting to a happy place for your 18 month check in next week!
Pickles (and olives) are some of my fav food, I don't eat them often but man do I love them!
Your scarf is AWESOME! You have inspired me to look for one like that this weekend, your's goes with everything, I love it!
Have a good weekend!
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Friends!
Great picture of you, Daisy, and I LOVE those doggies!
No special plans for the weekend. I will probably list some things for sale on eBay and of course, take the dogs for walks.
My picture is of a book review my 22-year old daughter had published in an actual newspaper! She is a published author now! I am SO proud of her!
QOTD: I try to eat slowly and to eat mindfully. I NEVER watch TV or read or do anything else while eating and try to savor each bite, chew it well and enjoy it. I watch the clock to make sure enough time has passed since I last ate something and that I really am legitimately hungry and it's not just head hunger talking.
My menu for today:
B: crepe w/ peach, cream cheese, cool whip
L: lettuce, spinach, tomato, cheese, chicken, cranberries, low cal dressing
D: Rib-eye steak (YUM)
S: Light & Fit Strawberry cheesecake Greek Yogurt
S: Watermelon
Exercise: Walking the dogs
Have a FANTASTIC Friday, everyone and a super weekend!
