My rings are too big

I noticed a while back that they were looser, especially my wedding ring which was always on the loose side. Well today it just slipped right off my finger in the grocery store while I was unloading the cart. Any temporary tips besides putting them on a chain because I'm afraid to put him on a chain and have the chain break. Is there any kind of gadget you can use to make your rings fit better until you're done losing weight?

Hey Cathy

I was just telling my husband tonight that my rings are getting very loose.  I can almost get them on my middle finger.  They do sell ring guards, but I think I will put them in the safe until I reach goal and then have them re sized.

I'm down 30 lbs in  weeks, I'm 40 lbs from goal.  Woohoo

Mine fell off too ;).  I am wearing it on my thumb.

what's funny is that I weighed almost 20 pounds less than I do now when I got married...my ring wasn't this loose then, lol. Weight loss is weird.

I use dental floss wrapped around my ring.  Have had to do it three separate times!

I was just thinking wrap it like we wrapped boys class rings!

Hello  I don't get to Walmart too much - but stopped couple weeks ago as I heard about this item from someone.  Bought these - cheap maybe $4 for the package. Different sizes, easy to put on all your rings - and comfortable! I'm going to wait til I drop another 8-10 pounds before having my Jeweler re-size them permanently !

Here is a pic of the package --  Just a clear flexible plastic that slips on the ring

I had those, but they kept slipping off my ring! I wonder if they stretch?

I put another ring on top of my two wedding bands... it's holding my wedding bands on, but now it's getting loose... I'm still about 35lbs from goal (the one I have posted, but may see if I go lower for the bounceback cushion) so I don't want to get them resized just yet. I'll probably just buy a cheap ring to wear until my bands get resized.
