What's on the Menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Hello Menu Gang! I found this sight from my paperwork that they give you at my bariatric center, but when talking to the psychiatrist and NUT. neither had heard of this sight! I have learned a lot from this menu bunch, I am almost 8 weeks out now and my book says to go to 800 calories and I know that I can't, I post my menu everyday in here and try to be around 600 calories and I usually am actually at 500, just can't fit anymore food in. I do keep my protein at around 70 grams and I have no problem with my liquids. But I come in here to keep my head straight. My next appointment I will see the food Dr. they just hired her, we have 3 NUT's. and they just hired this Dr., I have met her and she is really nice, but I know she is going to want me to add more carbs in, and I can't fit any more food in than I am right now!

QOTD: Well...since I've been here since 1007, I have to happily say It's a much friendlier environment!!! This is my support group, and I check posts several times a day. I take advice from the vets very seriously. They are much further into the process and have survived the bumps in the road.
