Holy Hell, did you see my MFP menu yesterday?  I was insane and I didn't even count the half & half in my coffee.  It's so hard to right yourself when you start the day off on a bad note.  I feel you, girl.

Sorry you are stressed Melissa, stress is no fun. When I get stressed I lose my appetite, but I do know a lot of people who do the opposite.  I am more of a boredom eater than a stress eater.

Tomorrow is a new day, get back in the game girl, you can do this.  Deep breaths, pretty girls should not be stressed!

Wow this week, has sucked. I cannot wait for it to be over. Good news is I turned to retail therapy as my stress relief instead of food. May turn out to be worse for my marriage and wallet but my health is still on track. Though I think the stress is still affecting the scale. This stall is taking forever.

QOTD: Things I learned from OH:

      Vitamin Patches

My NUT does not have all the answers for me, you have to do what works for you in this journey leading to...

There is no one answer for everyone. We are all different and handle this journey in different ways, which is why this resource is so amazing to have, can you imagine doing this on your own without all the opinions and options to think about and try.

Time Since Surgery Almost 10 months

B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake

S: Raisin Bran and Milk

L: Chicken Shwarma no Pita

D: Sloppy Joe Filling

Have a run scheduled tonight in my training plan so I may need another snack before it if we run before a late dinner. Maybe a half a banana and a babybel.

Good morning!  I really look forward to this menu posting!

QOTD:  I honestly do not know what I would have done without OH and specifically this thread.  #1 putting everything in MFP in advance as opposed to recording after is a huge and helpful change for me.  #2 then posting it here so that vets can sometimes look it over and comment is so helpful.  #3 the lab thing... I am only 5 weeks so don't have a big lab wor****il the 3-month check-up but I know to watch out.  People who do not have a support system like OH are walking blind through this, which I can only imagine is a disaster.

B:  Click Protein Frappuccino with Fairlife (OMG soooo good)

L:  Dannon Light and Fit Strawberry, Babybel cheese

D:  Premier Protein Chocolate

S:  Laughing Cow wedge, 7 grapes

Totals:   634  calories, 77 protein, 52 carbs

Question?  is the oil D3 a problem after RNY?  I have been taking a 5,000 D3 for a while now because my D3 level was too low before surgery.  5,000 iu got it back into a normal range, but it is the oil capsules.  Should I be taking another kind now?

Yes your D3 needs to be a dry form because we don't absorb oil well. I take a dry d3 that my pharmacy carries. They have differing strengths including the 5000 I U I take daily and even a 10,000 IU too.

Hello Everyone,

QOTD: most definitely the advice from the nutritionist. She's told me in my next phase I must have a carb with my protein in order to have energy. She suggest crackers, toast, cream of wheat and the lust goes on. I just nodded in agreement and will do what I've learned here.

Question, do my calories seem ok? I'm at my three week stall and just wondering?

B- L&F Carmel apple pie Greek yogurt

L- 1/2 c cottage cheese

D- 1/4 refried beans with 1tbl cheddar cheese, 1/4 cottage cheese

S- premier protein

cal- 442, pro-64, carb 33

I was told at my two week post-op to aim for 500-600 per day.  I am 5 weeks post-op tomorrow.

Kinda funny about WLS. When would anyone ever ask if 442 calories were too much?

I didn't count calories. I counted protein and fluid in early recovery.  Looks like you are eating the right stuff. You will lose weight again.

Work on getting your fluid in.
