Advice on left side pain

Hi

Can anyone tell me what might be causing pain on my left side?  I'm 1 month post op, I had open surgery and have to wear a tight binder to prevent a hernia.  At first I thought it was sore muscle from the binder, but it's stabbing/throbbing pain.  I think I get it shortly after eating.  I have no galbladder so that's not it.  It's on my direct side not my back so does that rule out kidney?  I really can't do another surery, so I'm hoping it's something simple..

It could be a pulled muscle or a kidney stone or something else.  Get to a doctor.

Yeah, I know I née to I was just hoping I didn't have to.

If is lower left side it can be diverticulitis. Definitely see a doctor to rule this out.

Hi it's more upper right side, however I do have diverticulitis.  I have not had it in several days so i'm thinking maybe it was muscular??  I see the Surgeon on Friday, I will tell him about it.
