Congrats on the size 10s! Glad you see you back, don't be a stranger. We can't support you if you aren't around!
Enjoy your time in LA and have a great time with your Aunt!
Good morning. Still working on funeral things for my brother. Looking like I've got most of it worked out. The prison has agreed to mail me his things so that is a big relief. Cremation is arranged and paid for. Just need some more information and paperwork for the death certificate. Moving along. Meanwhile I am still sad and all that good stuff. Blah.
QOTD: We have dear friends who have become of family of choice who we spend Thanksgiving with. Sometimes they come to our house, usually we go to theirs because 1) I am a terrible cook 2) My kitchen is tiny compared to their kitchen. I am an avoider. I hate the idea of having to make special stuff just for me. I am good at only eating what I can tolerate so I am not worried about eating too much or the wrong things.

Good morning! Sunny but COLD today here...
QOTD: This will be my first Thanksgiving post-op. It has always been a huge event here, we make everything including at least two desserts. My favorite things are the sausage cranberry stuffing and mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. I am NOT an avoider, which is how I got fat in the first place. I also love to taste as I cook. This year my PLAN is to eat turkey (not big on meat still), gravy, some veggie and maybe a few bites of mashed potatoes and stuffing, heavy on sausage. Oh and I love cranberry sauce, so will be on the lookout for some replacement. I am still looking for pumpkin yogurt for my dessert. If not I will make a lowcarb pumpkin ramekin with no crust and sf cook whip.
B: Cherry Cobbler protein shake w/greek yogurt (yum thanks Eggface)
L: Dannon Light & Fit yogurt, Babybel cheese
D: Rotisserie chicken and zucchini noodles
S: Laughing Cow wedges, 7 grapes, Diet Cranberry drink

We used to travel for Thanksgiving to my parents house but for the last few years (since my husband's back surgery) we don't travel, so my daughter usually travels to her grandparents where all of my family gathers and my husband and I have a small turkey and some of the fixin's...lol I found a recipe for sausage stuffing that you don't add bread to so we will be trying that and I have made pumpkin pies with no crust and fake sugar already and my husband and daughter don't know that I am not using sugar...lol

Better late than never!! Thanks for starting us off Daisy! Hoping you continue to get to feeling better! tell that cold to take a hike already!
I had my mammogram this morning! (Got the all clear for another year ) Our company organizes it for us once a year, and it's nice... they come pick us up, take us to the center, where they have carb laden breakfast items splayed out for everyone to eat, full caffeine coffee... and fresh fruit. (I ate before I went). They also have a masseuse and you get a complimentary 10min massage - THAT is the BEST part of it all!
QOTD: Ugh... Thanksgiving. I am an organizer... and I love hosting events way too much... but my new family (ie, DH's family) have their customs, and we usually end up going over to my brother in law's parents house, where everyone only eats, and then leaves... no activities, nothing fun (sister and brother in law are TG shoppers, it ruins the day because no one wants to stick around and do things!)... last year I hosted, and only 1/2 the family came. I guess that was my clue that I'm not supposed to host. I miss having large gatherings at my house, filled with family and friends, alcohol, games, walks, and football on the TV.
I won't have a problem concentrating on turkey, ham, and other good protein forward things... but my brother in law's mom makes HOMEMADE turkey and egg noodles... (there's not a lick of turkey in there at all I swear)... THOSE will be hard to pass up. Will have to grab 1 noodle!
B: 3 pieces of bacon and 1/2 scrambled egg
L: 2.5oz steak
D: Not sure! Protein first though
S: Syntrax Nectar protein drink
