Happy Monday everyone!
I'm definitely working today. No Columbus Day for my school district. My second daughter was born on Columbus Day (10/12) and my husband wanted to name her Columbia. I overrode his moment of irrationality and we went with the planned name of Elinore.
Qotd: I've never been crazy about pumpkin or Apple. But that pumpkin pie light and fit- omg. And pumpkin cheesecake?? I would have to say pumpkin.

I love the name Elinore. Beautiful. If she hasn't thanked you already for nixing Columbia, she will!

I know, right? Columbia would have been awful, but Elinore is great. It is not a common name at all. The only other Elinore I know is a 90 year old woman at church. In 8th grade, Elinore wrote an essay about why her literacy teacher should name her new baby Elinore rather than Emma. It was published as an op ed in our local paper. It was hilarious!

Good morning. Sorry AV, I am home today, my last Monday holiday until May, no Monday holidays in winter when you work for one of the busiest commercial heating companies in the Boston area.
My weekend was very nice, my youngest daughter was confirmed on Saturday, the day was beautiful, the ceremony was very beautiful and we had the family back to the house to celebrate. Unfortunately for me I overindulged in too many of the goodies that were available and it has showed on the scale. I am back on track today though, not going to let this get out of control.
