What's on your Saturday menu, RNYers?
M and M's are little devils... sneak up on you. and so unassuming...
Love that you already have four cups of coffee... I always post I have a coffee latte with fairlife milk first in AM - I figure the fairlife is giving me a little protein and calories being I don't feel like eating. What I don't post is my little Miralax coffee ****tail with SF Irish creme fills a 32oz mason Jar. so a "An Extra extra Grande Latte Extra Hot SF Syrup with a shot of Miralax" hahahaha don't think I'm ordering that in Starbucks.

QOTD: my husband's shower curtain is just a clear liner (he's had white liners before, too). His shower is one of those tub/shower combos. Mine is an actual shower stall, so it has a glass door.
16 months out
B: Greek yogurt, blueberries
S: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese
D: meeting my brother and some of his friends at a BBQ place (this is North Carolina, after all!), so probably pulled pork, cole slaw, and baked beans (I'll be mindful of my portions, though - and bring a lot home for tomorrow!!)
I'm not sure what I'd do a baked potato bar!!!
Morning pouch pals!
im at bowling with my son- he's down in himself cause he's not doing as well as the others. I made him ask for help from the coach-- gotta grow that independence! I've been on my run and have no other plans for today. Last night I went and bought a winter coat-- size 10! It's a little snug but should fit fine by the time daily wear of coats is necessary. My head is in a weird place-- this morning getting dressed a I hesitated putting on my size 12 jeans-- convinced they wouldn't fit. I even pulled out a pair of 16's I've had. I forced myself to put on they 12's. They fit fine.
My surgeon's visit went wonderfully. They are so pleased with my progress and asked me to speak at the next support group meeting. I will-- am actually looking forward to it. I have lab work to do- but otherwise don't need to go back for a year.
Qotd: I totally see screaming ghosts!! My shower curtain is a deep pink with chocolate paisley print on it. I have one with stripes I prefer though.
time since surgery: 17 months
weight today: 192.2
meals: no idea-- I haven't gotten used to this new Saturday routine. I may have to start brining protein shakes to sip on while he bowls.Dinner will likely be pork chops. Everything else is up in the air.

Yay for a size 10! and yes by the time the cold weather gets here you will be all good! Amazing how our body dysmorphia gets in the way sometimes.... I know on one hand that I am no longer obese, but when I am sitting and look down and my hips are spread- I think- "you are not that small".. I look at jeans constantly in the morning and think "there is no way you are getting into those" and they fit. I feel like a fraud in the dressing room bringing in small sizes...e specially if I have to ask for a small size.

The other night I was at Target (happy place!) and grabbed a few things from the girls section to try on at home. I had this little red top in my hands that looked so freaking small that I checked the tag 10 times to make sure it was right. Brought it home and it's swimming on me. I'm wearing it now and I'm wholly convinced I could have bought 2 sizes smaller. Silly silly silly that we can not wrap our heads around our actual size.

Good morning fierce protein-eating gang!
I have been hanging at a better # this week JB but not exactly where I want. So I hear you... What shake are you trying? Were they Quest if I remember? I know a lot of people like them. I get caught up at this point in our journey how important 100% whey protein isolate is as we are not newbies. and FYI while the Syntrax cappuccino isn't bad I missed the 'mocha' aspect of it. So added some SF chocolate pudding mix. Fit Frappe is better.
QOTD: I have a very tiny bathroom, so I went for a spa look and have green and my shower curtain is white cotton with like that waffle texture...
1: latte with fairlife milk and miralax, 'potato pancake' omelet, bacon
2: kirkland protein bar
3: salad with goat cheese, pear, pecans and chicken
4: eggsalad, on a wasa
5: Chicken TBD
6: Chocolate Chai latte, greek yogurt
ex: 21-day-fix. I keep saying I am doing the trampoline and haven't done it...tonight I do it while watching TV....
