Good morning, TGIF is all I can say. I am seriously putting resumes out now, the past 3 weeks here have made me crazy. The internal sabotage, undermining, non-sharing of information and "official not official" secret keeping is working my last nerve. I've found that without food to turn to for stress relief, my heart is racing, my stomach hurting--I swear I'm going to have an ulcer. My supervisor and hers were removed 3 weeks ago for unprofessional conduct (which didn't occur and couldn't be proven) and my sup is back this week. Hers still isn't. Another nurse manager was removed for "serious misconduct" which won't be proven I'm thinking. I'm just sick and have never worked in this type of toxic work environment. I can't quit, will have to find something different, we cannot afford it. Say a prayer for me.
So here's a QOTD: what was your favorite job ever?
Mine was during a period of about 5 years when I worked in the Nursing OFfice at another hospital. We had a group of people who were just beautiful ladies, and laughed and loved each other through everything. WHO you work with makes as much difference as what you do in my profession.

L- greek yogurt
D- chick fila grilled nuggets
My numbers are crap today except for cals. I'm trying to care. At least I'm not eating cake.

Favorite job? Hmmm... probably my real estate that I am doing part time now. I had wanted to do this for years, and I'm finally getting there... now if I could just make it my full time job, I'd be happy!

The Mental health Organization I now am President of, I started working their first 23 years ago.... Obviously I liked the place...When I submitted my resignation, they asked me to be on the Board... as they say the rest is history...
