What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Gah, AV, I hope your day turns out better than you expect. At least it's Friday, right? As for that, I am working today at my new job from 2 until 9:30pm. Then doing the same thing again tomorrow. I have Sunday off, then work days on Monday and Wednesday, then afternoons again on Friday, and days on Saturday. That is as far as my plan goes. It looks like I won't have time to post on the menu threads when I work days, unless I can type something up and post from my phone on my lunch break.
I had fun last night working, though it's going to take me a bit of time to get to know the store and get used to working the register. I'm sure that I'll figure it all out quickly. I worked the register yesterday for a couple of hours with my manager and I think I did relatively well.
Anyway, since I work 2 to 9:30, I have to pack dinner, so it's going to be strange to pack a dinner. We have a full sized refrigerator and a microwave there, so I should be able to just warm something up. Though, I think I'll just stick with tuna tonight to make it easier. I've usually had traditional dinners, so having a lunch type meal in the evening will be strange for me.
I also had a huge scale victory this morning, my weight is FINALLY moving down again after months of sticking around the same weight. I'm officially in the 150's! Here's a pic!
14 months since surgery
B: 2 eggs with reduced sugar ketchup, half a banana (the kiddo shoved the rest of his in my face, my fault for eating it. I have to remember that I am not a trash can). coffee with sugar free coffeemate
L: Deli Chicken on 1/2 a flat out with 1 2% reduced fat kraft single and mayo
D: Tuna salad with a 2% reduced fat Kraft single on 1/2 a flat out and a light and fit greek yogurt
S: Light and Fit Greek yogurt
totals
calories 761 protein 82 carbs 52 fat 28
I feel like my food is a little bit light, but because I'm working at the time when I'm usually struggling not to snack, this will likely be a HUGE win for me in the calorie department. I don't expect to be home before 10pm, and I still need to get up with my kiddo tomorrow, so I don't plan to stay up past 11:30 at the latest.
Woo Hoo!!! Congratulations!!!
And that selfie picture of you is really adorable! I love it and you look SO happy!!!

Beautiful! You look so cute in your apron thingy! Glad the scale is moving for you again. I think you are going to see a lot of moving scale in the down direction as you start ramping up the work thing. It is going to be an adventure!
