Does RNY always make a person have a low hemo level?
Hey guys more then likely im going to be revised from sleeve to rny. My biggest concern is having a low hemo level after. Whats some of your hemo levels like now and how far post op are you? Any specific vitamins to take with the rny? With my sleeve i take iron..folic acid...b complex...vitamin c..and a multi and hemo sits at about 14. Is there any patches they use or anything besides iron infusitions?
Low hemo can happen...not something that always happens. Many factors impact it. Most especially how well you take care of yourself and follow through with taking supplements and eating well. My iron got pretty low a few months out, I got an infusion and started a chewable iron and took it EVERY day instead of 'mostly whenever I remembered' and am good now.
