Has anyone had a Revision after Sleeve due to Reflux

I have severe reflux and have been going through different tests and i have 2 weeks before I see my surgeon to go over my results.  So far ive had upper GI and I'm scheduled for endoscopy this Thursday and then the following Friday my Surgeon 10/14 I just want to know what to expect.  Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I have no answer for you.  I do have a friend who is going through the same thing.  She had the sleeve last October, never had reflux before the surgery, and now suffers with it really bad.  I would be interested in hearing what your surgeon has to say.

I'm not 100% sure yet but I think he is going to do a revision to rny I have another hiatal hernia.

Yes, there are people here who have revised to RNY after terrible GERD with the sleeve. (not me, I had the band with terrible GERD).

There was a lady that replied to a comment that I made saying....

"I converted from VSG to RNY because of severe reflux that began 1 year after my surgery.  Had I not had the reflux issue, I would have been extremely happy to remain a VSG'er for the rest of my life."

I'm in a minery state with the reflux I can't even sleep I hope he does something to give me relief.

I converted to RNY on 7/1 because of severe GERD.  My acid is gone.  Is there something you particularly want to know?  Ask away. . .  I'll answer any questions that I can.

Hi Elia, I remember you from last year, we had surgery just a 8 days apart.  I'm very sorry you are having issues, and I hope that your surgeon can help you work it out.
