What's on your Tuesday menu, RNY'ers?
Sorry to jump the gun on this (although it's after midnight somewhere, right?), but I just had to post this picture. My brother took this of me a few minutes ago, on my 16 month anniversary (my husband normally takes them on the 3rd of each month, but I'm away from home indefinitely, and hubby's not with me).
I didn't think I was one of those whose brain couldn't keep up with their weight loss. I was wrong. I was stunned and shocked when I saw this picture. I almost cried. For the first time in my life, I'M NOT FAT ANYMORE!!! (I just wish that stupid shadow wasn't in the picture!!)
so back to our regularly scheduled program.
someone come up with a QOTD - my brain is still too overwhelmed to think of one!
so tomorrow's food:
B: Greek yogurt with fresh blueberries
S: protein shake
L: 1 C cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes
D: 1 C turkey chili
I'm taking a protein bar and an individual pack of mixed nuts out to the nursing home again tomorrow in case i need a snack - will eat one or the other, not both
Exercise: going to try to make an Aqua Zumba class at the Y in the morning (this YMCA Away program is great! I've never actually used another Y while I'm out of town until now!)
Wow you look amazing!
This is my first time posting here as I am just coming up on three weeks post op tomorrow.
B. Protein shake
S. Yogurt 1 oz
L. Small piece of NY Sirloin 2 oz
D. Chicken breast 2 oz
I'm still struggling with my fluid intake at about 5p oz a day, but getting there
