Good morning. AV I am so glad everyone is taking this issue seriously.  Hope your boy is back to school soon. And I'm glad you got away- girl time is so important. my girlfriends and I usually have a trip evry February, but we're taking a break this year- My surgery date is still up in the air so I didn't think I could go.  We usually do a cruise, but we're debating doing an all inclusive in 2018 - to Haiti. A good friend of mine of ours is down there - but we haven't finalized anything yet.

I still have a cold - I feel like I'm at the end of it but just so tired.  I slept a lot this weekend.  On Saturday our ho****er tank gave up the ghost- fortunately it was a rental so they came the same day to replace it. I was impressed.

Today, I have cream of wheat pudding for breakfast- cream of wheat with beaten eggs stirred in. I made it on Saturday, and had the leftovers today. Leftover spaghetti for lunch and still debating on supper.

Have a great day everyone.

I've never heard of a rental ho****er heater! That's kind of awesome, because when they quit, they aren't cheap to replace!!!

It's pretty common here- I have to say it was awesome on Saturday. Granted, we've definitely paid for the ho****er tank over the years but any time it's needed maintenance they come, and on Saturday, we called, they came.  So we were without ho****er for about 6 hours, and 2 of that was while they were replacing the old one.

I think she meant her place is a rental. I initially thought the same thing though

Nope. Here in MA you can ren****er heaters from the gas company also. You end up paying a lot more over the years, but there is no up front cost.

Morning gang! I'm back home, we got here 5:30am. It's my first time driving overnight and I really didn't mind it much. We had a great time (funerals in my family are a barrel of laughs...) I had a few eating fails this weekend. 1st was me convincing my self I didn't need to pack snacks since we drove at night. Reality is I need something to munch on a bit to keep me awake. I ended up with cookies both ways-- will plan better next time. Then I "nibbled" Way to much on cake. There were SOO many options, I did choose selectively, but kept cutting little pieces off. Otherwise my eating was fine and protein forward and I even went on my runs.

I'm off today- so will just rest, and do laundry.

time since surgery: 17 months

weight today: 197.7(up 1.1 since my last weigh in)

meals: gotta see what food the men of the house left behind and plan accordingly. It will be a minimal carb day- I can guarantee that!!

Ooh, I love happy funerals! Not to make light at all...I've been to some tragic ones. But at my grandma's funeral after 97 good years, all of us were partying it up in the hotel. They had to come shush us so the other guests could sleep.
