You wouldn't know cold, if it gave you frostbite!

Good morning everyone!  It is a gloomy, rainy day here in Portland. Right now I am snuggled up in bed watching Deadpool.   Today I will begin the packing process for Palm Springs and Desert Trip. Yay!  Three sleeps to vacation!  I also will spend the afternoon with my Dad.

Julia, I don't know how you made it through a midnight movie.  I haven't done that since college and Rocky Horror. I was in bed by 10:00 last night. On a Saturday.  Yes, I am the life of the party.

QOTD:  My shoes are my bare toesies, unless you count the cat that is laying on my feet.  In that case, my shoes are a fat tabby, who wants me to feed her the bacon out of my omelette.

Time Since Surgery: 22 months

B: Egg Beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette

S: Chicken breast

L: Pork Pozole

S: Mango, tomato soup

D:  Chicken breast

Totals: Calories 767, Carbs 36, Protein 88.

I am, clearly, trying to use up all of the fresh food in my fridge before vacation.

Have a great day!

That was a fun movie. It's hard to explain how it could be so gory and funny, all at once.

I especially loved his blind roommate

it is not your kid's Marvel comics movie.  Super funny, gory and R-rated.  Plus, all of the constant obsecure references keeps you on your toes.  A fun watch.

Whoops!  Accidentally posted this on Saturday's thread!  I'm a couple days behind on my posting.  Here goes:

On the second day of a two-day road trip today, so not sure what I'm going to eat, but I have lots of Greek yogurt and protein bars with me just in case I can't find anything bariatric-friendly when I'm ready to eat.  Just finished breakfast at the hotel - about a half cup of scrambled egg and a sausage link.  I have a double protein shake ready in the car for sipping on the road.

Update:  currently at a Panera Bread in Richmond, KY - just ate a cup of turkey chili (for lunch)

I'm heading down to north Carolina indefinitely to be with my father during his final journey of life, so my food will probably change a bit, but I'm still going to stick to the program!  They've got ymca nearby, and I can use it because I'm a member at a Y in Wisconsin, so I'll be able to keep up with exercise, too

Very sorry to hear about your father. I hope you have a sweet, meaningful time with him.
