Oh man, I'm tired! Yesterday was awesomely lazy, but the midnight movie threw my schedule back off. We got home at 3am #notasyoungasIusedtobe

QOTD: What shoes are you wearing right now? It's coooold here and I'm not ready to leave the house, so I whipped out my Ugg, shearling-lined, slippers to walk around in this morning. They make my feet so happy :)

I'm spending the majority of the day/night today babysitting my three favorite kiddos-ages 13, 9 & 4. It's still raining here, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them...bowling maybe? Since the day is largely up in the air, I'm not sure what's for dinner. These kids are pizza crazy, so that's definitely a possibility. I already splurged my day's treats on popcorn and a brownie at the movie at midnight so I've got to be super duper good for the rest of the day. If pizza is the only choice, I'll skip the bread and eat the toppings. Here is what I know:

B: Fit Frappe mocha with decaf

S: nuts and cheese

L: 1/2 left over roast beef and smoked Gouda sandwich (without the bread)

S: Greek yogurt

D: ??

Chilly and cloudy here in Illinois but at least Lily and I didn't get wet today. We  did get our 3 plus miles in already. Post op 4 years 1 month and weight at 118.4 today. No exciting plans today just housework  and giving the dog a bath. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli chicken with cheese 1/2 c beets D 31/2 oz ribeye 1/2 c beets S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar .  Have a great day everyone and make some fabulous choices !

Good Morning Everyone!

QOTD:  Bare feet are what "shoes" I am wearing.  LOL.

I went to see "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" yesterday with a friend.  It was very interesting and full of special effects.  I had read the book a while back.  It was somewhat different than the book but that was okay.

My menu for today is:

Breakfast:  crepe with fresh peach, cream cheese & cool whip

Lunch:  Lettuce & spinach salad w/ tomato, bacon, chicken & low cal dressing

Dinner:  Not sure - need to go grocery shopping today.

Snack:  Oiko's Triple Zero greek yogurt

Snack:  Moon cheese

Snack:  string cheese sticks

Snack:  sugar-free pudding w/ cool whip

Exercise:  Walking the dogs around the subdivision.

I loved loved loved the books so naturally I am wary of the movie. I have heard mixed reviews...

I only read the first book, Julia.  The movie had some differences from the book.  The special effects were really good.  I enjoyed the movie.

Good morning everyone,

I'm still feeling a little icky in the stomach department but taking it easy yesterday didn't help a bit. I haven't exercised since Thursday, so after church I'm going to walk and then plop down and watch football.

Qotd: I'm still wearing my Clarks sandals and will until it gets cold. It's forecasted to snow on Wednesday, so I'll pull out my Danskos for the winter. I have tons of shoes, but my black sandals and my dark red Danskos are my go to shoes.

B noatmeal, coffee with cream

L 3 oz top round roast 

D shrimp with zucchini

S more round roast, light and fit, veggies

Calories 685 Carbs 23 Protein 88

Dang Colorado. 85 today and tomorrow and then a cool down with rain and snow Wednesday. Nothing will stick when it's been in the 80s. But still. Snow.

Morning!! 

It's our last day here in SC with my parents.  Very glad I made the trip. we leave this afternoon, will drop my brother at the airport and hit the road- we'll likely get home by 4/5am. I have done my run, and am trying to figure breakfast. My Dad is making our traditional Sunday morning panacakes. Pancakes don't sit well with me, and I've nibbled on my fair share of cakes over the past two day-- so I'll sit it out. I hope there is leftover ham. 

QOTD: I'm barefoot right now- my preference 99% of the time. I was wearing sneakers on my run-- which I need to replace. Will have on flip flops for the remainder of the day. In fall I like to wear mules, I have a pair with me but they are heeled, I just wanna be flat today.

time since surgery-- 17 months

M1- eggs-- maybe ackee/salt fish but that's not my favorite and I haven't had it since before my rny-  not sure how I'll handle it. 

m2-4: stew peas will be somewhere on the menu...otherwise no idea.

We have some wacky weather... I was also planning on wearing my uggs, but now it's humid, so I'm going back to sandals. 

Have a great time with the kiddos! 

Food today includes: sausage & fruit, shrimp & sauce, roast with veggies, mooncheese, mixed nuts, protein coffee.
