What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Hey yall- so much to say today apparently.
AV- I'm so sorry your boy is going through this. It sucks so bad and I don't have any words of advise on it but I hope that it gets resolved.
The dr report was great. No issue to start exercising again - yay I guess. Good and bad I suppose hahah. There was no liver damage which was awesome. apparently my GB was tested and not only was it full of sludge out but it also had gallstones in it and my ducts were enlarged so some of the pain could have been that I was passing a stone. Any who, he was super happy with my weight and i told him i still wanted to get below goal. oh also they agreed about me stopping the protonix so here goes nothing- day 1. Hopefully the 'ulcer' symptoms were from the GB issue and not an actual ulcer!! I'm really crossing my fingers on this one because I do not want to be on these meds.
The yoga studio I was going to is opening back up Oct 1 and having many free sessions this month as well as a college night which is only $7 so I will be super pumped about getting back on my stress reducing exercising program!
Chicken sit day 1 produced 1 tiny egg and some yellow cherry tomatoes for me. Here's hoping for more eggs today!
Yesterday's menu 755 cal 80 prot 38 carb
Today's plan
B: prot muffin/decaf/miralax/CM milk
S: CM yogurt
L: not sure but I think egg whites and some meat product
S: not sure
D: I have a roast ready to cook in instant pot for dinner but i can't decide if i want today or tomorrow... I will ask DH what he wants, it might be a pizza for him and some leftovers or something for me.
S: not sure
The chicken produced yellow cherry tomatoes??!
I used to have chickens, and will again in the Spring... I LOVE LOVE LOVE having fresh eggs! They are the best! And, I miss having my big bowl on the counter for all leftovers... they would eat everything I threw out there to them... and I could go call them, and they'd come running! Chickens are fun!

Oh my gosh yes! Report to police. That is an escalation of huge proportions. This kid needs help, they can't put their head in the sand. In the end it will probably end up helping him. So sorry you're going through this, hugs for your son.
On a lighter note, I finally started going through my closet I need to bring out my fall clothes cause it's going to be in the 60s the next three days. Ack! I'm not ready. I didn't really think that I had one more go through my closet where I'd be getting rid of clothes but I have a laundry basket full of stuff, and haven't even really pulled out the stuff I had put away from last winter. But I have enough T-shirts, bought some long sleeve T-shirts at target, And some cardigan sweaters to get me through. Reality is, I didn't think I'd get this small so when I hit last fall I guess I thought that was it -this is as small as I'm getting and bought too many clothes.
I am having a serious problem with nighttime snacking, and I think part of the problem is I'm happy being too lazy to make a decent dinner IE. Dense protein.
- Coffee fairlife and miralax
- egg crepe with lox and cream cheese
- Kirkland protein bar
- chicken salad bacon low carb wrap
- Steak, veggies
- greek yogurt, PB on spoon
ex: 21 day fix, 30 minute trampoline

I have strong cravings at night, too.
I'm often thinking about Greek yogurt or sugar free fudgesicles, so what I do in those situations is take my iron - then I know I can't have calcium for at least two hours. By then, it's either time for bed, or the cravings have gone away.
other times I will eat two SF popsicles. The sugar alcohols start to bother my stomach after eating two, so I don't want to eat anything else.
and my third thing is to drink one quart (yes - one quart) of Crystal Light. That sometimes does the trick, too.
