You realize you just got snotty with someone who's lost over 200 pounds?
I've lost and kept off 100% of my excess weight and so have a lot of other people. I'm not even close to having lost the most pounds or having kept it off for the longest. It requires vigilance, flexibility, and self-awareness, but it isn't impossible. Your attitude is a little dismissive.

That was a statement of fact, not intended to be snotty - just to point out that even losing it is a difficult task - and, by implication, keeping it off is even more difficult.
Why so touchy????

Not that I expect you to read it - I've posted cites in response to many inquiries and few ever bother to read. I suspect that those who accuse others of being snotty do not recognize it in yourselves.

Thy sin's not accidental, but a trade.
I don't read all you pst because you don't interest me. You do, however, make a gloating fool of yourself when you object to something benign and posted by someone with a history of kindness, knowledge, and success.
Consider me snotty all you want. Pragmatism and and unwillingness to accept sophistry are more accurate , but as you will.

Not everybody loses tons of weight during their first year. It's sad, but many people fizzle out fairly quickly. Those of us who stay on OH are in the minority because we stay on track and on top of things.
I posted no tomfoolery. Go pick a fight with someone else. I have had enough - I've posted the cite and responded to your request.

You are too optomistic - most people only lose 2/3 of their excess body weights, even in the honeymoon phase, and most keep offf 1/2 of their excess body weight.
Listen to your surgeon in the first 3 months pre-op.
