Morning Menu Friends!
I didn't get to post yesterday, and I missed all of you!! Worked from a remote office, with another HSE Technician, so it made it hard to get on here while I'm trying to show her how to do things... boo.
QOTD: I was bad and didn't really get on board with my eating until the final moment. I had no weight loss requirements, and I was in some kind of rebellion stage I think. I did have to do liquids for a week and lost 9 lbs during that time. The no drinking was the hardest part for me, but I've finally gotten used to it. I washed everything down with water/soda beforehand. Tough to get used to! Looking back, I wish I would have done better in the months before my surgery and lost more weight... maybe now I'd be closer to my goal, but I couldn't wrap my head around it...
B: Premier Protein Shake
L: 2.7oz of steak (yesterday I found myself at a Mexican restaurant for lunch. Not my choice. I had ONE chip and a couple of spoonfuls of the salsa/cheese sauce, then I ordered a shredded beef burrito. I pulled the tortilla off and put it over the rice, which I didn't eat, and ate some of the insides with some of the beans. I was extremely pleased with how well I handled that challenge!)
D: Roast that my hubby is cooking today in the slow cooker. There are also carrots and potatoes. I won't have any potatoes, but I may have a baby carrot with it (last night was 2.7oz of my steak)
S: Beef jerky and maybe a Russel Stover's SF dark chocolate turtle... I think I should never buy these again!

I usually do the beef fajitas (beef sits better for me than chicken)... but this place didn't have it on the lunch menu! I was like WTF?! And I didn't want to order the huge dinner portion... so this burrito only had the shredded beef, onions and peppers inside. It worked out well. I also didn't want to take a 'to go' since I was working out in the field and I'd never remember to bring it home from there.
