The calcium is three times a day, but are you trying to do iron three separate times also? You can do iron all at once. Best time is right before bed, 2 hours after calcium, coffee, or tea.

you guys, I'm totally overwhelmed!  This morning as I was getting ready to go, I got a phone call and scheduled another interview for tomorrow afternoon.  Then, as I'm pulling into the parking lot at Kohl's for my interview, I got a call for a position at an accounting service, I am completely perfect for this job, and we did a phone interview.  As I was on the phone, another call came in and it was for another position that I applied for (fancy receptionist at the Mercedes-Benz dealership locally).  I just sent over my references for the accounting service, and returned the call to the Mercedes dealership. Then my cousins wife texted me and said they have a part time position at her work, which would be another office job, so I'll send her over my resume later on.  I am so overwhelmed with different opportunities and I don't know which way I want to go.

My interview at Soma in the mall is in an hour.  Squeeeee!

I've been on edge all day.  I'm feeling slightly manic and I'm wondering if the meds are kicking in finally or if I'm just keyed up because of all of the stuff going on.

I never posted my food, so here is what I've eaten so far:

Breakfast was coffee with sugar free coffeemate, I was too nervous to eat anything.

lunch was chicken with chinese vegetables from the local place, no rice.

I have no idea about dinner.

Go with your gut. You will know what feels right for you and your family. It is awesome to have choices. Consider the schedule and how it works with kids.

Good morning everyone.  This is a quick drive by. I am on a break from an all day off site meeting.  No covert lap top posting for me today.  Yesterday I wrote a post, and then ran out of the house and forgot to hit "submit."  Doh!

Sorry to all of you sickos out there.  I hate colds, and colds during nice weather are the worst!  Pamper yourselves well!

On Monday I totally went off the rails with eating.  Didn't stick to  my planned menu and ate junk, or what passes for junk these days.  I paid for it yesterday with 5 pounds of water weight. FIVE POUNDS!  I knew it was water, but still made me flip the &@¥# out!  Today it is gone, and I am at 138, but I did not enjoy hat experience. Note to self: do not do that again.

 Time Since Surgery:

B:  Egg Beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette

S:  3 oz chicken thigh

L:  4 oz chicken breast

S: Chicken Sausage Link

D:  Pork Pozole

i haven't added this up yet, but will enter it in MFP at my next break. Have a great day!

Yesterday was so busy that I didn't get to even read everything  (except for a few in the morning on my phone****il like 11 pm. So much to do a work and home to get ready to be gone for 2 weeks. Biggest problem is adaptor/converter for my husband's CPAP machine. Of course the set I have had for years doesn't work in South Africa or Zimbabwe. So I spent like $30 for something on Amazon in addition to adaptor. Here's hoping. We won't know until we get there.

Keeping hubby and his germs away from me. I will be seriously cranky if I get sick and he is. I am even passing on the flu shot until I get back because it seems risky. Haha. It is a requirement for work (or wear a mask even though I work in an office and not the actual hospital), so I will get it later.

I hate all housework.I am neat and tidy and organized, but hate cleaning showers and bathrooms in general. I pay someone to come in every two weeks and do the heavy stuff. My husband keeps the kitchen pretty clean because he uses it more than me and I handle all of the laundry because he doesn't do it right. He is allowed to wash his jeans only.

Preop diet for me was 1 week of protein shakes and one meal a day that was either a lean cuisine type, Wendy's chili, or an apple. I lost about 8 pounds on that week. Someone said well why have the surgery then if you can lose weight doing this? People don't get it. That is why I didn't tell too many people about klmy surgery. This person knew and knew how I have struggled and still said something so dumb. I also gave up diet sodas before surgery.

I'm sneaking this in on my phone during a conference call, so please forgive any typos. Have a great day.

Oh yeah. Food. Premier protein, lunch scallops, salad, small amount of dressing, dinner shrimp skewers. Snack cheese and crackers I think.

I really wish I liked scallops.  I see you and others posting about them often and they seem like such a great idea. I just have never met a scallop I liked.

Hoping your trip is EPIC and wonderful.
