What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! It's shaping up to be a bright sunshiny day here in the 'Cuse. I'll take these days whenever I can get them this late in the season. Winter Is Coming. LOL
Is there a graceful way to eat sunflower seeds? You know how some people just put them in their mouths and spit out the shell? How do they do that? LOL Matt and I split a bag at Michael's game on Saturday and I was splitting them with my teeth and then opening the shells by hand, making a huge mess in the process. Just musing...
QOTD! What's the last dream you remember? I'm asking because I very rarely remember my dreams, but Saturday I had a very vivid one. I won't go into the details, of which there are many, but the gist was that all of a sudden we had like 30 kids playing in our front yard. Parents were bringing them from all over; installing playground equipment and setting up lawn chairs and **** I was all, "I'm never going to get a quiet afternoon to myself again!". What's even weirder is that on Sunday afternoon, 2 neighbor boys from up the street, who've never so much as said 'hi', came over to play with Michael. Matt said he thought I was psychic when he came home and there were a bunch of kids playing in the yard. Maybe I AM psychic. LMAO

I'm Back! We had so much fun I really wasn't ready to come home at all. Today I get to tackle the mountain of laundry we accumulated in the last week and a half plus bed sheets and spreads, some rugs and the clothes that needed washed when we left. Not much fun but it's got to be done. Also need to clean sinks, the bathroom and vacuum everything so we're all ready to go again. The new RV was wonderful and the generator came in handy as therequired were v4 days where there was no power available. Miss Lily was great and had lots of new experiences too. We already have our three miles in for today. Post op 49months and weight at 117.2 today. Not too bad as I was without a scale for 15 days and came back right where I was when I left. I ate some things like bread I don't normally eat but balanced it out by being more active too. At least the bread was delicious homemade whole wheat and not the crap Stuff! Food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c chili left from supper last night D 31/2 oz ground beef patty with cheese 1/2 c sliced tomatoes S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day all and make some smart choices!
