Head ache when asleep

Hi everyone,

Just had surgery on Friday and I'm wondering why I always have a head ache when getting up after a nap or sleep. Once I get up and start walking it goes away. Thoughts?

Hmm never heard this one yet. Are you getting up too fast?

I feel the headache while sleeping, it wakes me up, and when I get up it goes away. Just strange. it takes me a bit to get up so I don't know.

Strange....Maybe you should call the doctors office and bounce it off them.

Headaches can be a side effect of the anesthesia. If it doesn't go away by the end of the week I would give your doctor a call.

It's funny because this happens to me a lot. (Even before surgery) I always attributed it to sinuses since it went away after getting up and moving around. Feel better!
