Weight loss stall and frustration.
I am 7 months out from my surgery date of February 16th. So far from my heaviest I have lost 96 pounds. I was in a stall all the way from July 19th until now. I have been going to the gym, eating right, and following the plan. I know I should be jumping for joy with all I have lost to this point. After the scale going up and then bouncing back down, the scale just started moving down yesterday for the first time in a while. Anxiety keeps me worrying, "Is this it? Am I done? Did I mess something up?" I am so thankful for everything this surgery has brought me so far. I love my new life. I love not having food control me. I love the new way people are treating me. (and the new way I treat them as well) I just wanted to put this post out there for anyone else in a stall and struggling. You are not alone. It gets better. I haven't posted an after picture yet, because as far as I am concerned, I am not done. This is just a part of my journey. I love you all and the support you bring through this keyboard. You are part of my journey that has really gotten me through the rough times, and I want to thank you all.
Congratulations on the weight loss. 3 months is a long stall. I found during stalls it helped to change up my food choices, and make sure I added fat- we need that too. Also make sure you are weighing and measuring... sometimes we get into a rut with food, and don't realize what we are doing.
As you get lighter, you may need to reduce the amount you eat to keep losing. Exercise is great to make us feel good, but it is what we put in our mouths that makes us lose the weight.
Hope your movement on the scale means the stall is over...

Not only look at your calories but look at your carbs.
If you aren't diabetic, I would say count lactose (sugars from dairy), fructose (sugars from fruits and berries), and maltose (i.e. starch sugars) (i.e. "the good carbs" ) in ADDITION to glucose in your total carb count. Try to keep it around or beneath 32 grams for a week. See what happens.
Drink lots of water when you do this. Eat more protein and non-starchy veg like zucchini, cucumber, squash, spinach and kale.
See what happens.
