Hope this vacation isn't too soon...
You will be within 30 miles of a store right? LOL... You can always re-supply if needed.
My first 6 weeks after surgery- I went to 3 weddings, and one of them was a family wedding- so family in town all week, my brother's 60th birthday party, and had a BBQ for 100 people in my backyard. Life continues to happen.
Protein and fluids are the most important things. If you live on protein drinks- so be it. Better not to eat at all at this stage than taste and try things you aren't supposed to be having. It is a slippery slope, and you are early out. Stay the course.

Hi Pat,
My, hubby and I just returned from the White Mts.
We, stayed in Lincoln, N.H.
Sounds, like you are doing well with your WLS.
You had answered one of my posts, a few months ago.
Thanks you for that.
The R.I. forum, isn't that busy. Lol
I start my preop diet on Mon., Oct. 3 and my sleeve is sceduled for Oct. 17.
Getting a bit nervous, wondering if I will be able to handle the fact, that I won't be able to eat like I used too.
Do, you not want to eat, then I guess I won't have to worry about it. Lol
Enjoy your trip,
Nancy
Lol, we got back yesterday.
I was like a drug addict, with wifi, for my tablet.
I would go and stalk DD or Mickey D's, for service. Lol
Yes, she was with Dr. Roye.
I undestand he did want to do sleeves, but I'm not positive on that.
Kent, recruited her to start the very lucrative weight loss program.
Did, you have any problem, with your diet, while you were away?
How, did you handle it, when you went out to eat, if you did?
OMG this phone is driving me crazy. Cursor skips all over!!! I chose small servings, asked for to go boxes for extra or took something from my husbands plate.
I did OK, but the attention paid to my meals, especially by my husband, was unnerving!!! " Wow, you ate alot" It kept me second guessing myself. I wanted to just gear my meals around theirs and add protein in between.
I, would not like that at all.
I've already told my husband, that if we go out, I will share with him, if it's something I can eat.
Otherwise, I'll order a meal and take home the rest.
It's hard enough, without people being critical.
We, don't need food police. Lol
