Reaction of Co-workers

I work for a Fracing company, with a bunch of good old boys, and women that don't talk to me much (for the most part  - bless their hearts). NONE of the women have said a WORD to me (with the exception of a couple that I really like). But the men are starting to comment.. And the people on the elevator are smiling and talking to me more (am I imagining that?).

But I work with 'those good old boys'... I'm not surprised... and I'm 'honestly irritated that those other women haven't said a word to me. I should add that I told them about my surgery, because I figured they were gonna talk, so I gave them the facts so their gossip would at least be accurate. Hmph.

Can you tell I really need to move full tmeto real estate? (oh how I wish I could!)

I didn't change my hair, BUT when I went to a meeting with co-workers I hadn't seen for 6 months, several of them asked "You look great - did you change your hair?"  LOL

I find it very amusing watching people giving you looks and sizing you up lol you can just see the wheels of their brains turning lol. I haven't had my surgery yet, i'm scheduled for Oct 4th. Since the beginning of August I am down 37 lbs, yesterday this gentleman I work with very quietly told me he has noticed I am eating healthier and congratulated me on the results of my efforts lol OMG who is he lol the food sheriff of the office lol. Comical and amusing but what lol. I can hardly wait to see his reactions post op, I have not shared my journey at work they know I am taking a medical leave but don't know why. Will be interesting.
