Everyone is asking about AV. Honestly I have no idea where she is. She didn't make it to our dinner last weekend in Ithaca, she posted on FB the next day she was very sick with Vertigo and that's all I know! I hope she is okay So until we hear we from her I am happy to take over the daily menu thread if you all are okay with that?

QOTD: Are you a left brain or right brain kind of person? You know how they say left brain people are analytical, mathy and right brain people are creative, more emotional, what are you? I am 100% right brain. I can't do math to save my life. I am driven by my emotions, I have a vivid imagination and dream in colour and remember all my dreams!
This weekend hubby and I are going to a Wedding. Its a couple who play on his baseball team (Tom & Stephanie). Its at a resort called "Blue Mountain". They are actually getting married on the top of the mountain and the guests get to take a Gondola ride back down after the ceremony for the dinner at the resort. I am looking forward to the scenery!

Good morning, friends! Thanks for taking over the post, Daisy! I sincerely hope AV is feeling well and checks in with us, soon!
I don't have a pic this week. Nothing exciting... I'm just buried in a tall pile of work and and an equally tall pile of tissues (sexy, right?). This cold is kicking my ass.
But no time for illness--Grim and I are on our way to another "excellent adventure" this weekend. We are leaving tonight for a trip up to Maine. We are taking a 2 day woodworking workshop--learning to carve wooden spoons! With a hatchet! Out of a log! This should be interesting. I might lose weight if I chop off a limb. How much does an average arm weigh?? LOL.
B: 2 cups of decaf with Fit Frappe Mocha protein powder
S: 3 slices of Provolone Cheese on 3 Finn Crisp Crackers
L: ?? dunno. Lunch meeting at a Jamaican Restaurant. Any suggestions?
D: ?? dunno that either. Dinner on the road on our way to ME.
I don't think I have time to start the weekend post tomorrow or Sunday, sorry! Can someone else? Thanks! I'll try to check in with progress pictures of my spoon :)

Most Jamaican restaurants have some pretty amazing jerk chicken! Sometimes it's a little spicy, which is a bonus in my book! They should also have some fantastic black beans! Yum!
I'm expecting a picture of this spoon! Will it be like a soup spoon... or a serving spoon? Just don't make it a bloody spoon! Take care of your fingers and hands! LOL

I can't think of anything I would need less than a log-spoon but it sounds like a fun adventure anyway. Have a great time and feel better.
