Love love love this post. Especially love the first before picture. Inspiring and I cannot wait to post one of my own in a few months.
But: it is ALL about Payday bars.
Awesome post. Great transformation. You look awesome.
I came out to my friends and family about my surgery on my birthday. Thats when everyone starts wishing you happy birthday. I am usually more of a voyuer on facebook anyway as of late but since they were wishing me Happy birthday, I posted my Before and (right now) and gave them a mini update and what I have done and told them it isnt over. Then, I had a couple people privately message me and tell me that their daughter did it or someone is going to do it. Like you, I didnt want to deal with the backlash of it all or if any.
Count me as #901 of your closest friends because I read and can relate to especially thinking junk food stocks have plummeted because of me. Special thanks for coming out; I still exchange looks with someone as if we are saying to each other, "I know you know I know..." but I respect her decision, nonetheless.

Great post Erin, you are doing really well!! Congrats on your success! Your before & afters are awesome!
I don't speak about WLS on FB, very little people know I had it done (although I am sure they guess) and I am VERY private so its not my thing to talk about openly but I applaud you for having the confidence to post this.
Great job! Keep up the great work!
p.s I have never had a nutty bar and that's probably a good thing LOL LOL

I love everything about this. I 'came out' on my FB before I had surgery because I heard so many people with their bias and rude comments about 'them' and 'those' WLS people. I refuse to walk in shame about something I do and I wanted to help any of my friends feel less shame too. Thank you for doing this!

Wow! I love your post! It sums it up (WLS) in such a funny, informative way! I could not stop laughing! Your pics are also encouraging, as I too carry alot of weight around my middle. lol As someone stated earlier, you really should consider doing a blog. Wishing you continued success!
I love everything about this post!!! I too "came out" on Facebook. My family and a few friends knew. But my hubby's family in Massachusetts didn't know. So, I "came out" right before our trip out there last year. SO, much fun to see my mother-in-law's jaw drop!! Keep up the great work! VERY inspiring!
Witty, hilarious and worthy of a book deal! I loved how you wrote this, the feelings behind it and of course, the lovely new you!
I am fresh out of surgery and have only told my closest family and friends. I don't know when/if I will shout it out to the world, but I would hope I could use this as an example if/when I choose to.
And, I love the big smile!
