What is on your Tuesday Menu RNYers?
just 100 cal per day extra may result in 10 lbs gain over a year..
100 cal- . that is just one NSA latte per day.. or an extra apple. or 1/2 oz of nuts (10-14 almonds)
10 lbs in one year- I am 8 years post op - if i was not careful - that one apple per day - or 1/2 oz of nuts could have been a gain of 80 lbs today...

Good morning!
Sometimes I feel like the question should be what don't I like to eat?! :) but lately some of my favorites have been the deli sliced corned beef with thin cut provolone cheese and the single serve Pacific Coast beef jerky packets from Costco. With the beef jerky I feel like I need to hide it. The seven-year-old loves it, he packs it for school snack and would eat 2 or 3 pouches in the evening. However I'd much rather him eat all the beef jerky, than stuff himself with cookies and junk.
As I was making my lunch last night I remembered I have an afternoon conference that will include lunch...hence my tuna salad breakfast! Not sure what will be served, but it's at a nicer steak house, so I'm hoping something protein forward!

Good morning Cynthia and menu Crew.
Hoping AV is feeling better!
I was in bed early last night, felt awful , but woke up well rested and refreshed. I think I was overtired from my crazy concert weekend!
QOTD - one of my favorites is a 90/10 homemade burger, I season with garlic powder and onion powder and my favorite is to add an over easy egg to the top of the burger...No bun!

A well seasoned burger seems to agree with me. I will change up the toppings, another favorite is to add pepperjack cheese and homemade guacamole to the top with a little salsa. Nothing better than fresh!

I am drooling, that sounds sooooo good! We had angus burgers for dinner last night, I was only able to eat half and it sat like a brick in my pouch. I think that a hamburger is just off my menu, even with 'extras' bummer cuz I love them!
