Lack of energy is just healing and recuperation. If you are getting enough protein, it has nothing to do with calories. You have plenty of extra calories you are trying to burn off.

Fluids and Protein... that is what will make you feel better and recuperation as Grim said. You just had major surgery. 1100 calories is ridiculous....

You won't have energy for a while. I didn't start to feel somewhat back to normal until 6-1/2 weeks post-surgery. Your body is recovering from major surgery and going through a lot of changes. The energy will come back slowly and all of a sudden one day, you will be surprised that you feel energetic again.

Right now my favorite snack is 1/2 Cup of Cottage Cheese mixed with 1/2 Container of any flavor Light & Fit Greek Yogurt. 130 cal & 18 Protien. Tastes like dessert!
Breakfast: Premiere Protien Shake & 1 Light & Fit yogurt
Lunch: 1.5 servings of Trail Mix & Atkins Protien Water
Dinner: 1 hard boiled egg, 2oz turkey lunch meat, 1 cheese stick
Snack: SF Popsicle
CAL: 785 / PROTIEN: 90 / CARB: 38
