Good to see you can eat some foods. Knowing that you were close to goal when you had the revision- made me bit worried.

I can't eat most grains... I used to could quinoa...a few years back... ugh... o well...

I had and still have days that the pouch get super pissy.  And I refuse to eat crackers. peanuts have more calories - I had to find things that would work for nausea ....and food boredom..  For me peanuts work as well as crackers for nausea - without the RH later and cravings...  and the pickles also help with some digestion...and allow for some changes.

Some devil invented those Nut-thins  almond crackers.."Blue Diamond  Nut Thins crackers.." *******s...  they have a lot of flavors...

They don't bother my pouch... and i can eat a whole box instead of dinner... can't have them in the house... one box - 100 gr of carbs...

don't try them...

i.e.  Blue Diamond  Sea Salt Nut Thins Crackers

INGREDIENTS

rice flour, almonds, potato starch, expeller pressed safflower oil, sea salt, natural almond flavor, natural butter flavor.

No.  I'll definitely stay away from those!  I'm sad about quinoa, but will give it another try in a month or so.  I'm hoping as time goes by things will settle down.  It's just such a change from my VSG which didn't give me ANY problems.  Thank you so much for all of your suggestions!  It's so helpful to exchange ideas with people who understand my dilemma and understand that my system is a bit different from a new post op.  I'm so close to goal at this point (3 lbs).  It's just a bit draining trying to figure out what to eat!

I have a box of those (unopened so far) that I bought a while back. I'm afraid I will have the same experience. I don't think I will buy them again.

I have had a busy few days!  Yesterday and today I had plastic surgery consults.  I feel better now about where I am weight wise, and both agree on what procedures would be best for me.  Now to digest the money part....which is obviously the hard part!  ugh

QOTD: HHHMMM favorite food.  Is it weird that I dont think I have one??  I mean before surgery I could have listed like eleventybillion FAVORITE foods.  But, since expanding my carbs a bit, I do enjoy a nice hard apple with almond butter, or a banana.

So due to weirdness and traveling etc, my menu is weird and pretty meh

17+ months since surgery

M1: 4oz Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop Syntrax milk chocolate

M2: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt, 10g chia seeds, 15g slivered almonds

M3: Country style spareribs with homemade Chinese Five spice BBQ sauce, homemade light cole slaw

M4: Same as meal 1 (after the gym)

I need some more protein in there....and whatnot, so no totals

Well Sunday morning at 1am I got to bring my 3 year old to the emergency room since he has been puking non stop from Saturday morning on.  Then started throwing up blood.  Yeah...awesome.  So my birthday was spent laying around with the sick child, and I also had a nasty cold myself.

Mt parent's brought over my favorite chinese food, and my mom made apple pie.  They both made me so sick with the slimes that the rest of the day I felt horrible.

Soooooo uumm it was a typical crappy Birthday for me!! LOL
