What is on your Tuesday Menu RNYers?
Good morning! I'm at work plugging away, my Aunt flies in from Dallas today to help me deal with the REAL breakup aftermath. She was the one that drove me to the hospital to have surgery, so this should be interesting. It's so weird, I still see that same fat girl, but everyone assures me she is long gone. I womaned up and got the nerve to enter my ex's man cave (that's where my big TV is) so I could move it to the living room for my Aunt. I never watch TV. I KNOW he must have been panicked like crazy after he kicked the door in, because next to his video game playing chair was his favoritest gift I ever gave him, a beautiful Citizen Eco Drive watch. I know he didn't leave it on purpose because he took all of the other watches I gave him. It took EVERYTHING in me not to text him a picture and say "forget something?"...but I didn't. I just cried and went to bed.
A friend of mine wants me to go to Vegas with him in 2 weeks, and I'm VERY tempted, but he's throwing around the "relationship" word and I'm just not there yet. I honestly don't know if I'll ever be there again. I hurt all of the time and the thought of opening myself up for this kind of pain...uh, no.
B: I have an apple in front of me I haven't eaten
L: steak and broccoli
D: I'm taking my Aunt out to the casino with the rest of the blue haireds.
Favorite food: grilled chicken breast is my food of the moment.
Perhaps you can pawn that big old watch and get yourself something special... when you're ready.
Tell friend that you need FRIENDS right now, Vegas would be spectacular if you had your own room You can't get too involved just yet... gotta at least wait for those tears to dry up!

You don't need 'needy'... actually, as nice as he is right now (and perhaps forever) NEEDY is NO BUENO! In the beginning that's a red flag you're supposed to avoid...
I'm sure you can find an article in Cosmo to back up my theory

listen to your gut - if u=he is needy and pushy - means he does not respect your need for some space. if he can't respect your wishes now - he will not respect your wishes in the future... He wants what he wants... you had one of those...
but - rebound is good.. as long as you know it is a rebound and he does also...

Good morning. AV-I hope you're ok and that you come back to us soon! Yesterday was a crazy food day. I got SOOOO busy at work that in the 3:00 hour I finally realized that all I'd eaten was about 1.8 oz of turkey. I hadn't even had a sip of my double bonus star latte. Once I got home, I put skirt steak on the grill, got distracted and it ended up way overcooked. There was no way my tummy was ever going to be happy with it. So, I ended up with a grand total of 4 oz of meat part of a hard boiled egg and a handful of almonds. So very nutritious. Here's to a better day.
CQOTD: Nothing. My Frankenstomach is rebelling and the only thing it likes is meat (Grim would be BFFs with my pouch). But not all meats. I've been craving bacon, but it is a no go. I'm following this closely for ideas.
My plan:
B: 1.8 oz roast beef, 1 oz turkey
L: either 2.7 oz sliced turkey or a chicken breast from pollo loco
D: ??? I'm going to the Greek Theater tonight to see Mumford and Sons. I probably won't be able to leave work early enough to get dinner before getting to the Greek, so I'll have to depend on what's available there. I think they have a stand that sells soft tacos and they usually have vendors cooking outside. I'll make the best choice I can under the cir****tances
S: almonds
Well, looking at it, today doesn't look any better than yesterday . . . sigh.
No totals given that everything is up in the air, but looking at it, protein will be around 80 and carbs should be relatively low

that is the worst when you get so friggin busy at work you forget or dont have time to eat, I have those days too many times!
sorry Frankenstomach is a rebel (Love that by the way)! See my other post about Bacon...
If your pouch loves meat, why not do lots of deli meats, get them sliced thick and have roast beef with mustard, turkey with a sugar free jam, chicken with bbq sauce. Can you eat hummus? Eat it with bell pepper strips instead of crackers or cucumbers if you can tolerate them. Have you tried shrimp yet? So good and so high in protein!
I LOVE Mumford & Sons, I put their song "Renegade" on repeat on my phone when I am working out, I can't get enough of it!!! Enjoy the concert!! Soft taco's sounds amazing, I love tacos!
