Feeling the steroid poof good now. Ugh!!! But my head is finally feeling a ton better.
I'm in a terrible food rut and don't have anything I'm in love with right now. Nothing sounds appealing to me. Got to get this corrected as it usually leads to bad choices.
Time Since Surgery: 9 Months
B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake
S: Mc Donald's Breakfast Burrito (On the run and late for work, not the best choice but def not the worst)
L: Turkey and veggies

Good morning,
Thank goodness the sun is shining this morning, the gloominess of the past couple of days was getting to me.
QOTD: My favorite food currently are my Sargento balanced breaks, somedays they are just a snack, others part of my lunch. I also stopped buying pre-mixed shakes and went back to my non GMO Jay Robb protein powder. I will have to try the Fair Life milk, currently I use non fat organic milk.
Time since surgery: 17 months
B: 1 pc chicken tender, 1 egg
L: Deli Ham and Balanced Breaks
D: ? Probably meatloaf since i didn't make it last night.
S: Dannon L&F Greek, Jay Robb protein shake

Chocolate Truffle sounds wonderful, never tried it but sure sounds good!
You scale will move, give it a few days, you are losing pretty rapidly and consistently so don't sweat it! YAHOO on the size small at the Gap, that is awesome!!
I am super impressed with your menu lately Daffodilgirl, you are eating really protein forward and coming up with some great combos! I would totally eat chicken breast with olive Garden dressing!!! We have the same tastes! I might steal that! lol
Your dinner sounds yummy! I love my kielbasa with lots of ketchup or a spicy mustard, love mustard!!!!

You can get the dressing at SAMs in a two pack. I pack my kids salads with a little dab and they love it. I can't wait for the kielbasa!!! I need to try the tuna you eat. Right now the smell makes me sick but eventually I hope I can tolerate it.

Morning everyone!
still trying to figure out this whole purée/soft food stage. Things have been progressing well. Until last night. Got a little ****y. My husband was having stew and the meat looked so moist I tried a small bite. Like the tip of my finger . It still feels like it's stuck.... (lesson learned. Despite the fact id seen it posted here a thousand times not mess with tough cuts of beef...)
qotd: well, definitely not stew. Scrambled eggs and the lentil soup I made have been great. Hahaa my frame of reference right now is pretty narrow...
menu: it's going to be all protein shakes today. And some veggie broth.
hope you all have a great day!
Have you tried the ricotta bake yet? I love that stuff...
Of mashed black beans in a small bowl with a little salsa on top, cheese and a dab of sour cream... heat it all up (sans the sour cream). It's good!
That pureed stage is so hard!
