OK AV - hoping you are OK and feeling better from this weekend. We miss youuuuuuu....

Wonderful Weekend away! Lots of shopping and food. Was traveling home yesterday with T is Hagalicious Brown. Lots of eating out and the scale is up in an unhappy place. 168.8. Trying to keep it at 165/166. Not getting crazy about it... lots of fluids today. Weighing daily keeps me accountable, but you have to take each day as it comes, and adjust.

Cleared and Did my first lower body workout this AM in 8 weeks... so yay! Will also do 30 minutes on trampoline, as that is good for your lymphatic system, and the swelling I am still having from surgery and fall trauma...

QOTD: SeattleDeb posted this question and thought it was good- as we are always looking for new ideas. What's your current favorite food?

For me it is my morning coffee with  fairlife milk. Some calories and protein to start the day, as I am usually not ready to eat solid food right away.  Fairlife is higher protein/lower carb milk. I also put SF irish cream syrup in it.... yummy way to start the morning.... and it's huge. between 24-32oz depending on how much coffee I use. - always use 1 cup milk.

1: coffee latte, fairlife milk and miralax

2: Tuna with Balsamic ala Daisy :)

3: Leftover catfish from yesterday's lunch

4: Quest bar? maybe

5: Salmon - for trifecta of fish :)

6: greek yogurt

Thanks for starting the post out.

Feeling ok- still on tylenol. Took a pain pill last night and it caused sever nausea so then i had to get back out of bed and take the nausea medication. Safe to say i will not be taking any more pain pills.

QOTD: i would have to say the protein pancakes are my current go to. I have probably eaten them every day for the past week. Recipe is on yesterday's post. My dad who is diabetic came over friday and I made him some. He liked them and had about 5 of them (they are small)

I also really like my coffee with 1/4 cup carbmaster milk in it with stevia and SF torani syrup- I have this about 4 times a day lol

Went grocery shopping last night- we are having turkey sloppy joes for dinner. yummm I also bought a giant pork butt to have later in the week. will roast in instant pot.

Weight is almost back to 'normal' from surgery. 1 pound to lose then I'm back to my lowest. This has really annoyed me as I should eigh less than I do and I'm so close to goal. Frustrating.

yesterday i ate:

B: prot pancakes/cm milk/decaf/miralax

L: baked chicken/1 oz beef/salsa/lettuce

D: roast turkey/zuchinni/lettuce / 1 tbl bolthouse ceaser

S: 1 mission 1 cookies bar/cm yogurt/reddi whip

total 776

prot 103

carb 48

Hi everyone,

I've been MIA since going back to work. Life is crazy, but posting on here keeps me accountable with my food. I haven't been eating badly, just not getting enough protein. So today I have a plan.

Qotd: I've discovered noatmeal (thanks to curiosity from seeing Melissa's posts). Flax seed, chia seed, chocolate protein powder and almond milk. Microwave for a minute and it tastes like hot cereal. It's a good protein boost and the fiber has done WONDERS for my constipation!

B noatmeal, coffee with cream

L sirloin steak, English cucumber

D Italian sausage, 1/2 cup salad

S string cheese, almonds, light and fit Greek yogurt

Calories 810 Carbs 31 Protein 80

Good morning, C! Thanks for starting :)

QOTD: um...nothing... I'm trying to get back to a normal, post-vacation eating routine (the days of gourmet grilled cheese and m&ms are over!!). So now nothing looks exciting or interesting. That's awful, isn't it? I was getting way too used to treats! Remember when Mr Cheese Os were a treat? Yeah, me either...

B: 2 oz Bell and Evans Coconut Chicken

S: .5oz Mr Cheese Os

L: HB Egg and Light Babybel Cheese

S: 1oz Pepperoni slices

D: ?

Have a great day everyone!
