The ongoing waiting game saga!
I meet the psychologist Wednesday morning and then I should HOPEFULLY be cleared to be "presented" at rounds on Thursday.... with any luck I will be meeting the surgeon and getting a date for surgery. I've already told the dietician that I don't care if I'm having optifast for Christmas dinner, I will do whatever it takes to get in as soon as possible.

Losing the regain! I got this!
I'm about two weeks away from all of the information going to the insurance for approval. I have to have an EGD this Wednesday. I had my psychologist appointment on Saturday. Just a few steps, then, HOPEFULLY, the journey really starts for good! I, as you, do not care if I'm missing out on Christmas dinner! I would have done this yesterday if I was able to!
I hope it goes smoothly!

How long have you been on this journey mine is going on will be 3 years shortly - 2 1/2 years on a waiting list - group orientation was this past January - first one on one meetings were in April - had my next round of one on ones in August my iron levels have me stalled trying to get those up taking iron 3 times a day and I just had more blood work today and should hear in a week if its where it needs to be but really feeling down and pessimistic - how are you keeping your spirits up.
I have no room to complain really. Ontario seems to have shorter wait times than most and I've been able to call my centre and get in for earlier appointments so since my referral it's been 7 months.
You are in the final stretch so keep your chin up. It's so worth it.
