What's on Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Back in Portland after an amazing trip to meet up with a group of truly great and inspirational people. It was so fun, and I managed to get some quality shopping done. John (Grimm) was a great sport as we dragged him from store to store.
I feel like I ate my head off, but this morning I weighed exactly the same as I did before the trip. Winning!
I am taking one more day off before returning to work tomorrow. One thing I need to do is some grocery shopping. I've got nothing in the house, so my menu is pretty pathetic right now.
QOTD: I was the Chair ( and chief arm twister) of my last high school reunion. We had the main event for graduates only, and then a BBQ at my house the next day that included spouses and families. It was really fun, and I had a great time. I went to an all girl's Catholic school, and we had approx. 160 in our class, so I knew them all. Next year is our 40th reunion (ack!), and I suspect I'll be chairing the committee again. Unless I can con someone else into it, that is.
Time Since Surgery:
B: Egg Beaters, bacon and mozzarella omelette
L: Shredded chicken lettuce wraps
That's all I've got. I need to pull some meat out of the freezer.
Here is a pic from our shopping spree. Grimm gets the photo credit. The second is Mt. Hood that I look as we were landing in Portland last night. Have a great day everyone!

QOTD: The little privet school I attended, sadly, closed down a couple of years after I graduated, way back in 1987. But, there are many of us that, keep in touch via Facebook, And, we do, from time to time have a reunion of sorts. The last being about 4 years ago.
My husband is on the pre-op diet, as of this morning. His date (he'll be sleeved) is October 14th. I'm doing the pre-op diet with him, for support,
B-1 GNC Lean Shake 25 Orange Cream, coffee with half and half
D- 1-GNC Lean Shake 25 Orange Cream
S(uper) will be a frozen Lean Cuisine or some other meal*
S(nack) 2 more GNC Lean Shake 25 Orange Cream
* The frozen meals are per Nut's suggestion. She said it was easier to do that since the calories and protein are listed on the box. I will fix us a plate from time to time of real food. As I will be cooking for our 17 year old son
