Happy monday.  My weekend was ok.  I had to work this weekend and for some reason I HATE going into the office on Saturday, so I came in yesterday.  Worked until it got so hot in my office I had to leave, then ran errands.  After having a period of really good loss (given how close to goal I am) my weight it up today to the highest it's been in a while.  I know it has to do with some bad choices, but . . . they weren't horrible, so I'm not sure the actual cause.  I had dinner with my brother, sister in law and old friends on Saturday at a mexican restaurant.  I picked carne asada tacos and ate the inside.  This restaurant serves fresh hand made tortillas and I had a 1/3 of one.  The rest of my meal was all protein with a spoon of beans.  Up almost a pound.  Yesterday was 90% protein with a couple bites of potato.  Up almost another pound.  I know it can be water weight, how the moon and the stars are aligned, etc. and that I shouldn't sweat it, but I do.  Ugh.  Oh well, today is another day.

HQOTD:  Yes, I went to my HS reunion 3 months post surgery.  I thought I looked ok, then when I look back at pictures from that night, I realize how wrong I was.  Wish I could have a do- over!

My plan:

B: Deli sliced roast beef (2.87 oz)

L: either chicken breast from pollo loco or deli sliced turkey (2.85) oz

D: skirt stead and slaw (the slaw may go since carbs are above 30g with it in my menu.  See aforementioned weight gain)

S: Skinny latte (It was double star day at Starbucks and even a gain won't keep me from double stars); HB Egg, almonds

Totals: Cal: 783; Protein: 100g; Fat: 28g; Carbs: 30g

Yes for double star day, I even bought my mints since I was starting to run low.  But for some reason I always have to email them to get my double stars...I wait like a week and then email them-they always add them :)

Hang in there Stacy... this revision stuff seems to have a life of its own.  Don't sweat a pound or two here and there.  They disappear on their own as mysteriously as they came.

Glad you are feeling better.

Humid and overcast here this morning, feeling tired, didn't sleep well last night.   Busy weekend, I was a good doobie both days, visited my aunt on Saturday, then hubby and I went out for an early dinner at my favorite clam shop near where we lived when we were first married.  I had a fried clam craving, did well though, only ate a few and brought the rest home for hubby to finish yesterday.  Love fried clams, but can't eat them like I used to.  Sunday I went with my cousin and sister to visit my uncle in another nursing home, he was so happy to see us, he wouldn't let my hand go.  He is not very verbal since his stroke, but he sure had a lot to say yesterday, we were able to make out most of it.  So sad for me to see this once strong man so vulnerable.  Spent the rest of the afternoon shopping for baby shower gifts for my cousin's daughter.  Can't resist all the cute little baby stuff.

QOTD:  I went to my 25th high school reunion.  Had a great time.  I think if I had gone to an earlier one, I would not have liked it so much.   My 40th is next year.  I'm looking forward to that one too.

Time since surgery almost 17 months

B:  2 eggs, decaf coffee w/creamer

L:  Chicken, sauteed peppers, onions & mushrooms

D:  meatloaf w/ green beans

S:  Jay Robb Shake,  and if needed balanced breaks

Yes the reunions seem to be more fun when folks have some more "mileage" on them. 40th would be next for me but I think I'll hold out till 50.

At 25 I noticed the women were aging a whole lot better than the men. If most of the men weren't wearing a name tag with an old picture I wouldn't know who they were.

Hello everyone!  It was an interesting weekend, I have been talking to this guy trying to keep my mind off of the jerk, and it's been going extraordinarily well.  I actually ate this weekend, but ate like complete **** so I have to get my act back together.  Mostly, I was just trying to stay busy.  I went and caught crawdads in Lake Tahoe on Sunday (Sundays are THE WORST because football was me and the ex's "thing")  Nice, classy Metallica shirt, huh?

I also went to lunch this weekend, at "The Lucky Beaver", Oregon is definitely where my heart is.  I'd like to thank the restaurant for not kicking my ass out after taking this helmet off the wall and wearing it.  Go Beavs!

I've eaten a handful of cashews and some coffee.  I'm trying to get better guys, I really am.  I need to start PLANNING my meals.  I have a chunk of steak in the fridge here at work I may eat later.

Have a great day!

QOTD:  Hell no on the high school reunion thing.  I damn sure wasn't a success story.  "Well, after high school I became a full blown alcoholic and lost custody of the son I had with my drug dealer.  I'm much better after spending nine months in rehab though, even though I packed on 150lbs."
