Hi Everyone!
QOTD: We had a 20-year HS reunion. I had just given birth to Saralisa and I was SKINNY. I went and felt great! We had a 40-year HS reunion recently and did NOT go because I was very overweight and embarrassed. I will probably go to the next one because I won't be overweight for it! YAY!
I need to go grocery shopping today, so all I know of my menu so far is breakfast, sorry.
Breakfast: 2 eggs, sunny side up, 3 strips bacon
Have a great day everyone!
~ Karen
QOTD: We moved to a different state during my junior year, and most of my friends at the new school were seniors (and several stayed in town for college so I hung out with them even after they graduated and I was still a senior), so suffice it to say, I knew hardly anyone from my class. I saw the pictures of one of the reunions on Facebook, and I hardly recognized a soul. I'd consider going to my first high school's reunion because I grew up with those kids, but then, I'm technically not part of their class since I didn't graduate from there :-( I may go crash one of their reunions sometime, though.. But anyway, no, I've never been to a reunion.
B: pumpkin Greek yogurt with added protein powder and 2 T oats (wow was that filling!!)
S: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: 2 whole wheat crackers w/ 0.5 oz Brie, cherry tomatoes, probably another Greek yogurt
D: pulled pork with 1/2 C Chinese salad
we're going to a retirement class tonight and next Monday. I was hoping to retire next summer, but my husband lost his job in May (is now working part-time but looking for FT work with benefits...), so I may have to pu**** off another year or two unless he finds something pretty quickly. That's fine - I really can't complain about my current job. I'd just love all the free time.....
Good morning menu gang!!! I am so glad you are feeling better after your GB surgery.
QOTD- I have never been to any of the reunions. I'm friends on FB with a few people from HS. The rest blah! Lol.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good!"
I have never been to a reunion. I went to four different high schools so I didn't feel especially attached to the one I graduated from, and it is in Florida...I am now in Arkansas. The only person I cared to keep in touch with was my best friend anyway.
Weigh in day! Down 32 pounds since my highest which was 1 week before surgery. Today is three weeks post-op.
Breakfast- caramel latte shake
lunch- I made a quiche yesterday...it has some shredded meat in it. I didn't try it yesterday but thinking of trying a little today.
Snack- coconut oikos Greek yogurt
Dinner- going to try eggface's ricotta bake.
I don't have totals yet because of the quiche works out then I will need to figure out the totals for that.

Hi guys, checking in from work. I'm back to reality after an awesome week away in NYC. It's so hard to remember what I do for a living. Something about schools, I think...? Haha.
I didn't gain more than a pound or two while we were away, which is impressive since I definitely ate my body weight in M&Ms. But we were super active the whole time, too. This week I'm going back to much cleaner eating, but today is hard because I didn't have a lot of choices to bring with me...
B: Egg & Cheese in tortilla
S: 2 cheese sticks
L: Zone Perfect Fudge Graham Protein Bar
S: Deli Chicken on Finn Crisp crackers
D: ?? Oh god, no idea...
Here is a pic from this weekend's meetup (taken by Daisy's awesome photographer hubby).
Edit: forgot QOTD. I went to 5th and 20th. 5th was stressful because it was pre-FB so I wasn't sure what everyone was up to. 20th was fun but I was surprised at how many people were seriously overweight
