QOTD: My highschool had a 40 year reunion 4 years ago, but I wasn't able to get away for it. I did check out the Facebook pix, and despite the grey hair, could still recognize many people. Most have really changed a LOT since the west coast hippie days of 1972!

B: baked chicken leg (a substantial breakfast that keeps me going until lunchtime)

L: ham on a bed of baby spinach and cherry tomatoes with kraft calorie wise zesty Italian dressing

D: roast beef

S: string cheese, zuchinni

Good morning SS and menu crew, glad to hear you are feeling better and getting back into the groove SS!

I had a great weekend, went to a Dropkick Murphys Irish Festival in NH. ( Pics on Friday) I had a blast!

QOTD - my 30 year reunion was this summer and I attended the social gathering , but did not go to the formal event. They chose to hold it over July 4th weekend and my family activities take priority.

B - 2 hard boiled eggs

S - Light and fit greek yogurt

l - Chicken salad on 100 calorie sandwich thin

S - Cheese stick

D - Unsure at this time

Exercise - 90 minutes at the gym

Thanks for kicking this off. I need to get back on this bandwagon. I have my 9 month appointment on Wednesday and my primary doc just put me on a massive dose of prednisone for five days for my allergies. The weigh in portion of my appointment will be miserable.

Time Since Surgery: 9 Months

B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake

S: Cheese Cubes and some Grapes

L: Steak Salad

S: ???

D: Kielbasa, rice and beans dish, I'll pick out most of my rice.

 

Not too bad of a menu working on getting back to a better plan, feel off the wagon for a bit. Did pretty good this weekend, so trying to keep it up.

Good Morning, thank you for starting us out and yeah I hope Kristen is doing better. Hope you had fun at the reunion. I had a nice long weekend but back to the grind today.

QOTD: The school had a 20 year but I did not go.

B: SF latte, egg beaters with shredded cheese, 2 turkey sausage links

L: Bananas and cream protein shake with powdered PB2 with chocolate

S: SF latte, Carbmaster yogurt, and pork rinds

D: Mikey's cinnamon raisin muffin, a fried egg topped with a slice of thin Swiss cheese and SF pudding in a baked wonton wrapper

E: 45 mins stationary stepper this morning and elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Qotd I guess our 20th would have been this year. If there would have been one, I wouldn't have gone. I'm from a small area and kept in touch with those I wanted, and Facebook fills me in on the rest. I did go to the 10 year one though.

Morning Everyone!

I had a good weekend, and even managed to get my nails done! That's a win considering how my weekends have been flying by!

QOTD: I went to our 10 year reunion, but to my knowledge there hasn't been another one... Hmmmm... wonder if I just haven't been invited! hahaha! Sad thing was I met a guy there... I worked with his mother for a few years after graduating HS, and knew OF him, but didn't really know him... we hooked up and dated for a while, but he had a thing for older women and dumped me. When I moved to Chicago (from Houston) he called and left a voicemail for me (back before cell phones were popular) and I never called him back. I looked him up on FB a few years later, mostly just out of curiosity, and he had gotten very religious and told me he couldn't talk to me anymore... I wonder what kind of influence I was that he felt he couldn't be FB friends, just because he found God! 

 

B: Premier Protein Shake

L: I don't know, but all I've wanted to eat for days now is bacon... 

D: ground turkey meatballs in brown mushroom gravy with mashed cauliflower... comfort food for sure!

S: Probably some nuts, but I think I'm ready to try some beef jerky again after all these months! (making a mental note to go buy my favorite brand and give it a try!)

 

Steak and bacon... my body keeps screaming for it!

Scale has been my friend this weekend. weighed in this morning at 186!
