What's on Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Starting this off- since it hasn't been done yet. AV- hope you are on the road to recovery.
Back in the swing of things after GB surgery last monday. Feeling pretty good. weaning off pain meds this week. So far so good.
Saturday night was my 20 year HS reunion. It was interesting...
QOTD: Have you had a HS reunion and did you go?
Yesterday's menu was brief, I was up till 3 am sunday morning from the reunion and so I slept all morning sunday until 3 pm- very unlike me.
I ate yesterday:
B/L - 2 protein pancakes/2 egg sausage thingies
D: roasted turkey breast/green beans/carrots
S: CM yogurt/WW ice cream
totals: 550
pro: 68
carb: 32
this is low for me but I slept all day!
Glad to hear you're on the mend Hillary, and hope Kristen is okay! I worried about you all at the meet-up with all the stories about bombs this weekend. My first thought was: hope they're all safe!
QOTD: Mine is coming up in November...20th. I'm looking forward to it but I'm always awkward at those type of things. We shall see.
B- tea w/SF creamer, 1/2 cup chili
L- 5 oz ****tail shrimp, with sauce
D- blackened tilapia
S- 3 oz deli ham w/mustard
Totals- Cals- 758; protein-94; carbs-22; fat-24
**Also, see below. This is a SCALE VICTORY, this is my lowest adult weight. EVER. I remember the summer after high school graduation being in CNA training and being weighed on a hoyer lift (big scale for immobile people) and weighing 205. I was so embarrassed that I was over 200. The lowest I ever got down to with the lap band was 188 and I was starving every minute. This has been a miracle and I'm so glad for the opportunity.
Consult Weight:276/Surgery Day Weight: 241.6 /Goal Weight: 150
Congratulations!!!! What a great VICTORY!

Yes, I was both dreading it and mildly curious. It was strange going back as a 'skinny' person since I have never been thin in my life. someone even told me i was super tiny! We had a super large graduating class of 650 people so I didn't recognize a lot of people. I also was super shy and NOT popular. So it was a bit hard.
We were the same... a huge class around 650 as well... and I wasn't popular. My 10 year reunion was filled with mostly strangers, married with kids... and I was still single. I was surprised at how many people knew me though.
I bet it felt good walking in there all skinny and cute!
