My favorite things to eat right now
My latest fav are cottage cheese protein pancakes. 1 scoop prot powder, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 6 tbl egg whites, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, 1 tbl gluten free flour, baking powder and soda. Each batch makes 8 and they are under 40 cal each. Serve with walden farms SF syrup
yumm- sometimes I throw in a tiny handful SF choc chips into batter.
This sounds amazing! I copied and emailed this to myself. Can't wait to try it!

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
My favorite things of the moment:
- Shrimp, sauteed in butter & garlic, with ****tail/tartar sauce for dipping.
- 1 oz cheddar cheese, & 1 oz cashews
- deli meat (chicken or turkey) w/cheese & Dijon mustard
- greek yogurt with granola & berries
- eggs & turkey sausage
- teaspoon peanut butter
Dinner varies depending on what I'm making for the family. I'll eat pretty much anything, chicken, fish, beef, pork etc. I usually pair with broccoli or carrots or sweet potato.

Right now my fav snack is 1/2 c Cottage cheese mixed into any flavor of 1/2 container of Danon L&F 80 cal yogurt. 130 cal and 18g of Protien. Tastes like dessert!
Beyond that I have been trying to stick to the basics - cheese sticks, pickles, SF Popsicles, lunch meat, and I do have a favorite protein bar that I eat while on the run every 3 or 4 days. Fit Crunch Peanutbutter Bars - they are AMAZING. 190 cal, 16 protein & 6 carbs.
Hope to keep seeing other great ideas on this thread!

LOL the "good stff local yogurt"... Ellenos is my most favorite yogurt of all time. I am having a hard time transitioning to the Dannon Light and Fit... No relation at all. Can you eat Ellenos now? And I LOVE living in the Seattle area.
