My parents did breakfast for dinner often as kids-- that's where I got it from. It wasn't till I was an adult that I realized they did it because they ran out of Food/$$ to offer an actual "dinner" meal.

We never complained about breakfast for dinner!

I was looking at calorie counts at IHOP. 800 is almost the lowest calorie number. I do like an egg white omelette with swiss cheese and spinach with a fruit cup and for me tons of salsa. It's around 300 which is the lowest calorie item on the menu. We were there to fuel up swim boy. It was epic to watch his consumption. It is his happy meal for sure.

I didn't discover pizza till college. I recall may parents ordering it maybe once of twice as a kid-- but when I got to college t was EVERYWHERE.

Crazy that I haven't had pizza in over a year now!

Hmm. I guess I'd say dinner. I would generally eat as little as possible during the day so that I was starving by dinner time and then eat a big ole heaping plate full.

Getting the hang of what I can and can't tolerate, and able to tell when I am full.

three weeks post op tomorrow...

breakfast- caramel latte protein shake. Decaf coffee with milk

lunch-  we have a  potluck every Sunday after church. This was my first time going since surgery. So I made food I can't eat and brought that, and then brought a little cottage cheese cup for myself. But my four-year-old was crying on the way to church that she was hungry and although I did put breakfast on the table for her nobody could really remember if they had actually seen her eat, so I gave her my cottage cheese to eat on the way, LOL. Thankfully I don't feel hungry anymore.

Snack- when I got home I had one of those StarKist flavored tuna fish packets, Mediterranean flavored. It was really good and I tolerated it pretty well, but I only ate half of it.

dinner- The rest of the tunafish packet, and if I have room for Greek yogurt. I need the protein so if I don't have room I may try to eat the Greek yogurt later before bed.
