Less than 48 Hours to go
I am scheduled to have my RNY done at 8 am Monday, September, 19th. On day 13 of liquid diet today and curious about what my weight will be when I arrive at the hospital Monday morning. Have not been nervous leading up to the procedure but I still have the hour drive to the hospital Monday morning.
I've picked up some tips and great advice during the pre-op period and look forward to online support following the procedure.
To a bright future to each and every one of you.
Good luck! I be right behind you on Friday! Keep us posted.

Yes, that does sound a bit strange. When the hospital called on Friday to go over the registration and surgery prep process, they mentioned a weigh-in. I am going to weigh before I leave home early Monday morning so that I can calibrate my home scale to the one at the hospital. In addition to a traditional scale, we have a digital scale that is supposed to weigh up to 400 lbs but I don't believe it really will weigh that high. I have people I know that weighted between 350 and 400 and it gave off error messages.
You'll do just great. Let us know when you're on the other side.
