I Gained 4 Pounds

Can't prepare for that.  I read all the posts about people who gained weight after surgery.  I purposely put my scale away.  And I was perfectly happy to wait two weeks to be weighed.  But I had to see my Primary Care Provider at one week.  And I have gained four pounds.  Hard to wrap my mind around THAT.

keep the faith- my weight loss has been slow going, no huge drop. I just keep plugging along, it will turn around.  Follow the plan, exercise and give yourself time.

Don't worry my September buddy, it will come off!

Are "things" moving regularly?? Maybe that's the cause!

Was that on the same scale? I've found they can vary by a few pounds. It could also be the clothes you are wearing, or even a different time of day. One bottle of water can add a pound, so it doesn't take much :)

I stupidly weighed in the hospital and was up like 8 lbs. then it took forever and then one morning, boom, down 8 lbs. lower than when I went into surgery.  It's been a slow go (okay, like honestly, I'd be happy if this was a diet loss, but my brain wants more) since surgery but it's now coming down a little bit at a time, to about 8 lbs. lower than the day before surgery.  Hang in there, it will come off and more!

I also gained while in the hospital. It's from the IV fluids. It will come off, and then you'll be on your way to the new, healthier you!!! Keep the faith -- and drink plenty of water.

First, you forgot you had WLS.  Now, you are probably wondering if the surgeon just waved a scalpel over you and called it good? We'll be watching and waiting to see what's next.
