What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning Everyone!
QOTD: If I have to pick, (and AV says I do), I'd pick on the beach! I live smack dab in the middle of the USA, 1,733 miles from either coast, so I would LOVE to be near any beach!
I did well with my eating yesterday. Today's menu is:
Breakfast: 1 egg, sunny side up, 3 strips bacon
Lunch: egg salad w/ light mayo, pickles & cheese
Dinner: Bacon ranch grilled chicken salad
Snack: Oiko's Zero greek yogurt
Snack: Moon cheese
Snack: 2 string cheese sticks
Snack: sugar-free pudding w/ cool whip
(I always list 4 snacks, but usually only eat 2 of them)
Exercise: Walking the dogs.
Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good morning AV and menu crew - gloomy day in good old Northeastern Ny this morning. I am in a better place this morning ( it helps that my scale read 3 pounds lighter than yesterday morning). I need to stop the panic when I get off track. I get off track and then ignore the scale, my fitness pal and my planning for 3 days like it is not happening.
QOTD - I love the Mountains, love to hike. But would choose some beach, some where any day. I could go to the Beach all day long, I love to people watch, enjoy the sun, run on the beach, read and spend some time on the water. We go to Florida for 2 weeks in April and usually hit 3 or 4 beaches on the gulf and atlantic side. Love it.
B - 2 hard boiled eggs
S - tuna and balsamic ( thanks daisy, I am hooked)
L - Chicken sausage with mozzarella and peppers & a 1 sauce
S - buddig Beef pack
D - Grilled salmon with IBNB and dill
825 calories, 21 carbs, 99 protein
Exercise - 90 minutes at the gym.
Stay Healthy my friends.

Mike gotta ride it out my friend... WE ALL fluctuate! The scale is a fickle *****!!! I go up and down daily!!! Drives me insane and in the beginning I had multiple panics over it. Now I just let it go. I know when I have had a few treats or not drank enough liquids it shows on the scale and I only have myself to blame. But you got this dude, I have full confidence in you!
And crazy combo I know the tuna & balsamic but it works right! And the can of tuna keeps me so full. I see you are getting down with the A1 sauce too, I put that stuff on all my meat, I love it!! Glad I can inspire you... now that fall is coming and bbq season will be over soon (crying a bit over that cuz I LOVE bbqing) I will have some new creations on my menu soon that you can try!!
OHHHHHH where do you go in Florida in April? Hubby and I went this past April went to Cocoa Beach Florida, just outside of Orlando, it was off the charts awesome, never tried the Gulf side but I want to. Hint... there may be an OH meet up in Vegas in April 2017...

I am slowly learning that I need to ride it out and if I am going to deviate, I will plan for it. yesterday is a prime example. I had a vendor visit me yesterday, I brought my lunch and had to deviate as we had Pizza and salad brought in. I ate a small slice of pizza , I changed up my meal plan accordingly and stayed within my goal for calories and lost 3 pounds. I did not graze yesterday. While I do not want to eat a slice of pizza every day or week for that matter, I feel like I had a win.
Tuna and balsamic seems to keep me full as well and that is why I like it so much, and A1 sauce was just genius. I really like this board as so many people that enjoy success are willing to share what works for them. I am learning how important it is to Plan and account for evey bite. The grazing is what gets me.
My folks live about an hour from Cocoa beach, we were probably at the beach the same time, we were there from 04/13 to 04/27. My folks are snowbirds, so we have lodging and do not need to rent a car....they live on a golf course, so we get cheap golf as well. Love it.
I have never been to Vegas! Sounds wonderful, though we already have our trip planned to FL! Boo!

Its VERY hard when "things" pop out like being taken out for lunch, I get it. A lot of my work friends think I am so weird they will say "wanna go for lunch" and what I do is I eat the lunch I brought and then when I go out with then I will have a nice "fancy" coffee or something so they feel like I am still "eating" and I just flat out say to them, I packed my lunch, I eat a strict diet and I ate already. They are used to it now that I eat my own lunch, otherwise it would be way too tempting for me to eat off plan. Grazing is hard to me too, I almost hate the weekends as my eating tends to be all over the place, I am so good during the week!!! So I feel ya!!
I love this board and the people too, I am so glad you joined us and are enjoying it as well. Bummer you and wife and make this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!! I will keep saying that just hoping it will happen LOL LOL LOL
Holy crap on the Cocoa Beach thing!! So we have been going to Cocoa Beach for about 10 years now, usually my folks rent a condo in February but we wanted April so hubby and I rented a condo for 7 days in a place called "Spanish Main" right on the beach. We had off the charts amazing weather. Spanish Main is right on A1A. We were there from April 23 - 30th. Hubby's bday is the 25th of April, so it was his bday gift. I am trying to figure out money wise how I can get us to Vegas for 4 days for the OH meet up and then go to Cocoa Beach for 5 days right after. We drove this past April, we love road trips, but if we do Vegas it will be flying. But if Vegas does not pan out I know we will go back to Cocoa Beach, and most likely same time frame, work it around hubby's bday, so might see you there my friend!! Awesome your folks have a place, we seriously considered buying a place, we LOVE Cocoa, its like a second home to us!!!
