What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Morning everyone!
qotd: mountains with a lake? And funds to get to an ocean beach whenever I want hahahah I want it all!
im still on liquids, I'm getting closer to 60 gm of protein. technically I think I can start purée on Friday, but I have a meeting at the Bariatric clinic on Friday, so, we'll see what they say.
we had already purchased tickets to a folk fest here in Ottawa before my surgery was scheduled, so to be sure, I emailed to see if I'd be able to bring in a premiere protein, just in cAse I need it. They were super accommodating! So, assuming I have the energy , it's going to be a fun folking weekend!
have a great day everyone!
JB is mean. She forced me to eat a grilled cheese from a place called The Melt Shop yesterday. And took me to the M&M store in Times Square. Three fricken stories tall!

Good morning gang. My allergies are in full effect today. The ragweed is HIGH and I stare at it with hatred when I walk to the library. It's rainy here. It's supposed to clear op and be in the low 70's this afternoon, so I'm looking forward to that.
Since the first day that I left my job in July, I slept in late this morning. I got up about 15 minutes ago. I had a kink in my back last night that made it difficult for me to sleep. Add that to my stuffed head, I was tossing and turning most of the night. My little is still sleeping, so I'm trying to get this posted before he gets up and needs me.
KQOTD: This is hard for me because I love them all. I love the beach, I love the mountains and I'm a city girl at heart. I think, if I had to choose where to live just off the top of my head, it would have to be the Seattle area. You are on the west coast, and a short drive from the ocean. Mount Rainier is looming over you all day. The weather is moderate, everything is green and beautiful. I spent a week there in 2014 when I visited my brother, and would totally live out there. I also spent a night in Portland, and I loved the city, so maybe out there. The problem is that it's so far from my base family. My brother lives there, but he has no children and doesn't plan to have any.
I haven't been up long enough to plan food for the day, but I'm going to go do that now and I'll post it in a bit. My hubby is working here at home today, but he has a light day and we may sneak out and take the little to do something fun this afternoon. Gotta get in the shower and food in my gullet.

Allergies are really bad here too Deanna, the ragweed is off the charts. I want to scratch my own eyes out! Reactine is barely doing anything for me and hubby.
Morning everyone! It's a rainy cool morning here, and on the way to work there were 2 wrecks, AND I had to stop for gas in the rain! (Never mind I could have done that on the way home yesterday... ) People seem to lose their minds in the rain... I'm an aggressive driver, but these folks make me look like a granny going down the road. I wonder how they feel when they end up in that wreck, like do you think they realize driving like a banshee in rush hour traffic and pouring down rain was a bad choice??
QOTD:
I WANT IT ALL TOO AV!!! But since you're not letting us play that game...
I pick tropical beach side real estate... with a big city REALLY close by... and mountains within driving distance... Oh wait... there I go again.
Just keep the SNOW away from me! Nothing under 50 degrees please
B: Premier Protein shake
L: leftover lettuce wrap chicken from Pei Wei (I may get 3 meals out of that 1 appetizer - SCORE)
D: Some kind of chicken breast creation, but not sure what I'm creating just yet.

I want it all too. Traffic sucked for me this morning. Of course I had a meeting with my boss that I was late for because the freeway was closed down to 2 lanes and there were cops everywhere. 45 minutes extra on the commute. Luckily my boss is very understanding. I have found chicken lettuce wraps to be a great choice.

Good morning! We must be sharing the same weather system AV, because you have just described the conditions outside my window.
QOTD: I would choose a large or mid-size city near the ocean, and I would have a magnificent ocean view from every room in my house. Fantasyland, but dreaming is free. :)
B: baked chicken leg
L: ham
D: roast beef
S: strawberries, zuchinni
Cal: 800, carbs-32, protein-106
I was reviewing stats in MFP reports last night, and realized that I am getting way more GMs of sugar than I realized. I rarely eat things with added sugar and closely monitor my fruit consumption, so was puzzled until I checked the menu pages. The high-sugar-number culprit? Milk sugars in yogurt! That slider food is going to slide much lower on my go-to snack list.
QOTD: Absolutely a beach girl... Did love when I visited Oregon because you could have beach and mountainns within driving distance.
Posted a NSV and pics on Main page Hiked 4 1/2 miles
