Starting my Journey!
Wow! All the responses to this post are wonderful! Ok! So the main thing to do is just focus on what I can do today. Set a goal for myself and work at achieving it. If 20 ft. is all I can do then that's what I will do. so I will start with baby steps.
I did neglect to say that last Friday I had an appt. with my PC for a regular ck up. Of course they weighted me in and took my vitals. Then on that (or this) following Monday I had my first Nutritionist appt. So they also took my vitals and weighted me in. from Friday to this past Monday I had lost five pounds! So I was very pleased with that. So ok body..... get ready to start feeling better!

Welcome to the best thing you've ever done for yourself. It really is amazing how much quality of life you can gain through this process. It isn't as much about the number you pick now, that can always be adjusted later. It is really about getting the ball rolling and going for it. The exercise is going to be what you can physically do at each step of the way. Re-learning how and what to eat are the biggest challenges.
Keep connected here and let us know how you are doing!
