For the last several years my Gynecologist has had trouble doing my pap smears because of my extra weight. She has had trouble seeing my cervix during my exams. Today I had to go for a 6 month repeat smear (my last one was a week before my surgery) and she said she could see everything clearly and everything looked great! Yay! 100 lbs makes quite the difference "down there" too!

My periods have changed a lot--things tend to come out easier now and I don't have as much pain. Also, no more stress incontintnance. It definitely makes a difference when you don't have all of that visceral fat pressing down on your uterus and bladder.

Congrats on the good views! LOL I totally have seen lots of changes everywhere. It is always weird to recognize a new change.

I'm still having incontinence issues, but suspect it has to do more with three pregnancies, a hysterectomy due to the removal of an 8 pound fibroid tumor, and then a couple decades of carrying around excess weight. I'm actually looking forward to seeing my regular doc for the annual check up and see how she reacts.

OH!... AND mammograms.

It used to take two side-by-side shots just to get one giant boob in there. Now they just flop my "beaver tails" (as Daisy puts it - hehehe!)... between the glass bookcases and it's a piece of cake.
