What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Haha, doing the laundry.
QOTD: I can manage a decent amount of things. I was lucky to have a Dad who thought his daughter didn't need to be dependent on anyone. However, I prefer making my husband do it.
Time Since Surgery:
B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake
S: Steak, Mushroom, Tomato Provolone Omelet
L: ??? Not sure, I think we are going out but noone seems to have details
D: Chicken Fajitas (May have some tortilla depending on how lunch goes) or may not because the scale was not my friend this morning. I was up two pounds, must be holding onto something.
Probably no snack tonight.

Good morning,
AV, Sounds like it wasn't too bad a night if you were able to "do laundry".
Beautiful sunny day here today, wish I had the day off. I am taking a few days off at the beginning of October, just because I have to take my vacation time and I guess I will take them to do a big "fall cleaning" and some food preparation before my daughter's confirmation. I will be having the family back to the house and well, there is a lot of family.
Had a great weekend, was so nice to be able to go out to dinner sans boot. Didn't quite do everything I had planned, but I managed to work out both days. Yesterday was a crazy Monday, never even opened OH up.
QOTD: I am not great with cars, like you I can pump my own gas and fill the windshield fluid, but I leave everything else to the professionals.

Good late morning menu gang!! Yesterday was my 6 month Post-op. The surgeon was really pleased with my progress. Funny thing is my NUT wants me to add 150-200 calories when I exercise. (I laughed in my head when she said this.) I just said ok and kept right on going.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good!"
Do you think the NUTS just get bored telling us we're doing a good job, so they just feel some kind of need to throw something out there? Like, if your numbers are good, you feel good, and you're losing the way you want to... then WTF would they want to mess with a good thing?!

Laundry has never sounded so fun before. LOL Glad all turned out well for you. I got to spend the evening hanging out with two of my grown kiddos and that was really great. My oldest son turns 26 this week and my 19 year old daughter was just bored so we all had coffee together and then went to the outlet mall. I ended up buying him a phone case and he was happy. Basically it was just a good long walk interrupted by some shopping. I love getting to hang out with them.
Today I have a check up with my surgeon and will find out how my iron levels are holding up since my infusion. Wish me luck!
