What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Tired. SO tired. Between my regular job and my PT job, I haven't had an actual day off in like two weeks. Plus last night Matt fell asleep on the couch and I've been awake since he climbed into bed at 2am. That shoe store job is really hard. LOL Like way harder and more active than I ever would have thought. I need to charge my fitbit, because I'm probably getting like 15k steps over a 6 hour shift with all the running back and forth. This counts as exercise, right? HA! And my quads are killing me; I've never climbed so many ladders in my life! Plus I have ladder rung bruises on both shins. Tres attractive.
So, my plan for this evening is to grocery shop after work (no Clarks today), bring home takeout (rotisserie chicken from Weggers), do exactly ONE load of laundry and fall into bed. And woe be to anyone who disturbs me for any reason other than that the house is on fire or someone is bleeding profusely.
QOTD! Are you afraid of heights? I am to an extent, especially if there's nothing to hold on to, which is why I will never climb my husband's tower. But all the ladder climbing at work is kind of numbing me to it. You gotta do what you gotta do!

Good morning AV and Menu crew!
I had a busy weekend , went hiking on Saturday and mowed the lawn and did some yard work yesterday.
QOTD - Ironic you are asking about heights, take a look at my posting on the general discussion page - My NSV of the week.I went hiking on two High Peaks in the Adirondack Mountains of NYS, I posted A couple of pics from the Mountain.

See, you are far too close to the edge in that picture. It makes me a little dizzy just looking at it. LOL
I know this is strange, but you talking about your part time gig makes me want one also! Lord knows we could use the money, and I kind of hate sitting on my butt all day at my desk job. BUT that would mean Hubby would be home with the kids all weekend when I work, and I HIGHLY doubt he will want to do that! lol
QOTD: Ummm I am ok with heights I guess. I get nervous going up on the roof to shovel snow etc. Well I am fine when up there, its the getting up and down that get me. And your husband has a tower? What kind of tower? Like a castle tower? Fire tower? I MUST KNOW.

My eating was great yesterday, Saturday...not so much. We went to a birthday party that was "FAIR" themed...so there was fried dough and homemade corn dogs etc etc. I am retaining SO MUCH WATER, my rings are so tight, and they are normally really loose. Hopefully all the water I normally drink during the day will help this!
Good morning! For those of you following my progress at IMWI, I'm sorry I didn't finish. I made it 121 miles before my body gave out on me. I ended up at the hospital with severe dehydration. I'm fine, a couple of liters of fluid and I was feeling better. I'm proud of everything I've accomplished, I may not have finished but I started which is more than most can say! Thank you all for your support throughout this process.
menu is very up in the air today!
What??? I'm sorry? You take that back... 121 miles is amazing and while I realize you may feel disappointed you have done something most people wouldn't think about...
